Lexicon Model 200 Digital Reverberator

YouTube Uploaded by repeatle on Jan 13, 2012

"Lovely old school digital reverb. It's perfect for dub music, because of the ability to mute the input signal, or stop the reverb with buttons on the front panel."

A quick note on effects posts:
1. They have to be used with synths, and/or:
2. They have to feature synth sounds, and/or:
3. They have to feature synth functionality, and/or:
4. They have to come from companies typically associated with synths.

General effects typically don't get posted.

NAMM: SSL Modulation Orgy

YouTube Uploaded by iammodman on Jan 13, 2012

"Quick vid of some orgy action"

via Synthetic Sound Labs (SSL) aka teamsynth.com

"The SSL 2260 Modulation Orgy LFO is the illegitimate Euro cousin to our 1260 Tap Tempo LFO, and is a special module indeed. You can set the LFO frequency by tapping the TAP button, supplying a periodic gate to the SYNC input, or by changing the Tempo CV. You can build tap tempo effects vibratos and tremolos, tap tempo controlled drum machines or tap tempo sequencer clocks. Or use it the other way around - control the 2260 tempo with a sequencer! You can even use multiple 2260s to create polyrhythmic LFOs using the built-in Multiplier ratios. Awesome possibilities!

The 2260 can produce 8 waveforms, including a random (sample & hold) wave..."

Giving this one the NAMM label as I believe it is new. The only other post I have featuring the steampunk Orgy was back on Dec 31 here. Mmm... a Steampunk Orgy.

Teenage Engineering OP-1 Song Example - Dance Style

YouTube Uploaded by djthomaswhite on Jan 13, 2012

"OP-1 being used to compose a song with a bit more of an arrangement... kind of has a low key build and the bass comes in. You can see the uses for the 4-tracks of tape and how you can build layer-by-layer in much the same way as you can with a DAW or older hardware (digital midi) sequencers. Yes, this is all audio clips so no midi is being used. All 4 tracks were recorded to OP-1 Album Side A and imported to my Mac via USB Super easy. No mastering or external processing... 100% pure OP-1"

"Pictures of Gakken SX-150 synth and of the magazine that comes with synth.

I recorded some sounds, you can check them on Soundcloud -> [below]"

You can still find these and the Mark2 on eBay. I don't believe the Mark2 comes with the magazine. You can find a video of it in this previous post.

NAMM: MacBeth MICROMAC 1 TEST 1 Video

YouTube Uploaded by macbethsynthesizers on Jan 13, 2012

"Hi there- this is the first *test* of the macbeth micromac- measuring just over a mere 8" wide- it whacks a punch! This is the first demo that I've done of this 3 Oscillator pure analogue synthesizer and on this video- I'm getting to try out a couple of things. Oscillators 1 and 3 have direct outputs to left and right- the filter section has Oscillators, 1, 2 snd 3 pitched 1 octave apart, and a fifth! I guess then I lose the plot and try other things! Anyway- I put up because some folks have wanted to hear it! The micromac is a project that started well over a year ago....and now it is complete! I'm using the all analogue Vortex keyboard to play this thing!"
