"I made a screen recording of me playing my Absynth Beethoven patch. It's cool to see the way the patch evolves"

Absynth is another one of dream synths for the iPad. Hopefully one day it will happen.

"Another one with the MoogerFoogers + Doepfer Mini Case (ADSR + VCA) + EHX Deluxe Memory Boy. Slow, monotonous sequence mostly based on timbral variations resulting from using Freqbox's Envelope & FM, the Ring Mod, and the LowPass filter on high resonance with cutoff controlled by a triangle wave sent via CP-251's attenuator (with me manually alternating between normal and inverted CV).

No keyboard or sequencer used – the sequencer is due to the use of a slow triangle wave (from the Ring Mod's LFO output) sent to the input of the sample & hold of CP-251."

Studio Electronics Omega 2

"This Synth is in perfect shape. Every controllers, every switches respond perfectly as well as the Q knob. Based on discrete circuits with different filter types, an arpeggiator, very good modulation capabilities, dynamic sound processing and elaborate MIDI control, this synth is definitively a modern synth.

This Omega 2 SC, the most affordable Studio electronics Omega model, can easily compete with a pair of analog mono synth, at a far lower price. Think what you could do with two voices combined into a Multi ? 4 oscillators, 2 sub-oscillators, 2 filter flavors (Moog and Oberheim), modulated by 6 LFOs, 6 enveloppes, ... no other analog synth can rival this synth except another Omega with more voices.

This 2 voices polyphonic synthesizer, 2 parts multitimbral stereo analog synthesizer comes factory-fitted with Moog and Oberheim filters and can be expanded with optional CS80, 2600 and TB303 filter cards. Filters can be added per voice giving you a range of filter flavors, unbeatable in the modern synth production. This Omega offers 128 Multimode patches and 256 Factory Presets.

Impressive pads, brass, organs, leads, basses, and many of the other classic analogue sounds, as well as great abilities to create a wide scope for experimentation and ample opportunity for extreme noises, this synth will dramatically increase your creativity.

And if it's not enough for your creativity, I'll provide you for free, the Theriot and the Cadix patch bank as Sysex files (value $99 each). This 2 patch banks are those coming with bank C and D of the C.O.D.E. 8.

Listen to this juicy Phat Fu demo of the Omega :"

"This 4 voices polyphonic synthesizer (user-expandable up to eight), 4 parts multitimbral stereo analog synthesizer, based on discrete circuits has similar voice architecture to the S.E. Omega family. Factory-fitted with Moog and Oberheim filters, it can be expanded with optional CS80, 2600 and TB303 filter cards.

Sinewave generators for Oscillator 1 and a brilliant new filter Control Section, set this NovaMusik-partnered synth apart from the standard Omega family. Switches in the filter control section also contribute to the CODE's expressiveness via momentary control of assignable parameters. This is the newest version, available with the 512 presets, 128 multi-presets including the “Theriot” and “Cadix” banks.

As depicted, this item is in pristine condition. Pictures are those of the actual item for sale, click them for close-up views. This synth has always been kept in a smoke free environment.

This C.O.D.E. has amp overdrive on all voices, discrete opamps on all voices, Midiminiafy on voice 1 and 2."

"In 2005 I built the original RC-1324 after receiving an email from guitar legend Vernon Reid. Reid wanted to use a Brian Moore guitar to play his vintage Roland GR-700 synth. I put together this clip for Vernon so he could see the RC-1324 in action."

"Last month we kicked off our new video tutorial series Sound Alchemy with Ableton Live featuring Dubspot instructor, composer, and producer Raz Mesinai. In this series, Raz creates Effect and Instrument Racks in Live, taking inspiration from natural sonic phenomena. If you missed the first episode on the Singing Dunes, check it out here. In this second installment of Sound Alchemy, Raz exposes us to another world of amazing sound possibilities by showing how to create an advanced Instrument Rack inspired by overtone singing (also known as throat singing or harmonic singing)."
