"The analog architecture has been expanded to allow for control over every essential parameter, plus a few surprises.

The connection panel in back retains all of the original ins and outs (power connector, main audio output, headphone audio output, LT trigger, HT trigger, DIN sync connector port, DIN in/out switch, start/stop foot-switch input jack) plus 3 audio inputs for injecting a signal to mix with or replace the 1) Snare drum noise path, 2) Tom drum noise path, 3) Cymbal or hats shared oscillators. There are also individual audio outputs for the Bass drum, Snare, summed Tom drums, Cymbal, summed Hi-Hats.

DDVCO as 5/4 Pattern Generator

"Messing around with the SSL Ian Fritz Double Deka VCO's lower-octaves/sub-audio cycles through some Steiner filter resonance with a dash of 'verb. The 10 adjustable nodes of the waveshape can be used to tease out some pretty cool rhythms, but thus restricted to 5/4. Lucky it's one of my fav time-sigs. The further 2 successive nodes are displaced from the center detent in opposite directions (+ and -) the more pronounced the percussive effect/staggering of the waveform/rhythm. Pardon my crappy camera quality."

"Early 70's drum machine in a beautiful walnut wooden cabinet with folding lid. The metallic foot switch is stored in back of the cabinet with the power cord. The Bandmaster 55 is a wonderful analog drum machine with preset rhythms and buttons to customize your sound. This is a working unit and the physical condition is excellent and shows very little signs of wear.
