Modular synth & Sequetron - basic 2-voice record/playback
Published on Nov 21, 2013 Phil Tipping·58 videos
"Synth-only 2-voice demo with simple patterns recorded & controlled in real-time by a MIDI keyboard connected via Sequetron. Voice limit (2 x VCO/VCF/EG/VCA) gives interesting variations as seqs sharing the same voice steal notes from each other as they mute & play with different cycle lengths.
Also shows effect of adding a simple soft/hard clipping switch to dotcom's Q107 filter.
Equipment used: Customised Studio-22 from Dotcom, Korg i30 MIDI keyboard, Kenton Pro Solo II MIDI-to-CV, Sequetron 13.07.
Please contact me if you have a means of generating more than 2 CVs from a PC and are interested using (or have tried) Sequetron on your modular. I only had 2 single-channel MIDI-to-CV devices so you'd either need more of these or multi-channel ones, or something like the Expert Sleepers Silent Way system... and of course a synth with sufficient modules - currently outside my budget! :-(

Kingdom melody 17
Published on Nov 20, 2013 Kingdom Melodies·12 videos
"Me in the dark shed (the organ lights looks better that way!) in the backyard a few years ago with some old (or 'vintage') electronic instruments.
After around 30 video/audio takes playing the melody with foulds, this was the end result.
[Details:
The drums, basspedal and chord parts (with phaser) are also from the same 1972 Dutch organ called: ' Eminent 310 '.
The synthesizer on top of the organ is the ' EMS synthi A ' (UK 1971) adding some wind and bubbling effect sounds... ]"

The display also indicates the current BPM with the new nudge tempo feature."
