Stereoping Demo for DIY-Eurorack Module Spring Reverb"
Published on Mar 31, 2014 stereoping·31 videos
"Second protoype of my eurorack Spring Reverb module. This is the result of extensive experimentation with many commonly availabe schematics to get something that should work with ANY reverb tank (tested with 15 different tanks). The module has controls for send level, recovery level and sendlevel-current limitation. These 3 pots offer extensive control over the sound of your tank from the cleanest reverb to screaming input-coil distortion. A dry/wet pot and a 4 band equalizer colouring the reverb complete the features.
The demo shows pointless pot-noodling on 4 different tanks with input impedances from 8 to 1500 Ohm, insulated and grounded versions. Easy listening theme played by Vermona ER9, TX81Z, Kawai K1m and Fantom in last example with soft Drums and Piano.
This module will be availabe as a DIY assembly kit with professional frontpanel. I am working hard on it and hope to get my shop going in early summer 2014."
Kurzweil K150 FS Additive Synthesizer Audio Demos
"Recordings made in the mid to late 90's of some choice presets from the Kurzweil K150 FS additive synthesizer. All recordings are to DAT using the K150 performance features, and a Lexicon Alex effects processor. The K150 had some very interesting and unque performance capabilities including a 'Chorus Editor' which actually was achieved by layering voices on top of one another, delaying then and changing the pitch of each layer. This made for some very interesting arpegiating, delayed as well as chorus effects. These 'Chorus Editor' features as well as 'Timber Shift' and LFO effects are featured in many of these demos. Some fixes done in iZotope RX in order to repair some DAT distortion and dropouts."
Korg Volca Series x2 ( Spirited Away)

"A wall of Volca sound, deep swirls and shimmering twinkles...lol. More to the Ambient electronica side. Chill time, bathhouse style.
The TB-3 should be in around tuesday or wendsday, so maybe some midweek psychedelic acid trance?"

"Fred's vocals by DECTalk Express which is also used by Stephen Hawking. Cindy and Kate's vocals utilized two HP Scanjet 3C flatbed scanners. The robot guitar, keyboard, snare and bass drum all are controlled with a couple of PIC16F84A microcontrollers.
special thanks goes out to:
Chris Rasmussen who offered to fly me and my robot band down to Athens, Georgia for the Art Rocks Athens Festival. Sadly due to my work schedule I could not make it. What he didn't know I was already secretly working on my next video so I offered to promote this great venue.

Pastor Snoopi Botten has provided great on-line material with respect to programming the DECTalk speech synthesizer. http://theflameofhope.co/DECTALK.html
Special thanks goes out to Greg Howley and without his help this project would of never seen the light of day.

Make Noise René to DPO to MMG. The René is controlled by a series af logic and gates which in turn are controlled by Doepfer A149-1 and A149-2.
Doepfer A155 controlls the random freq and cutof for the MMG.
Make Noise Pressure Points to Intellijel Rubicon to Koma filter.
2 x Doepfer A110 which FM each other and controlled by Intellijel Planar.
Stereo panning comes from 2 x Alesis Midiverb 4."
