"The DS-M is a full featured drum synth that can emulate virtually any drum sound!

The DS-M (Drum Synth Module) is a complex, modifiable, 100% analog drum synth loosely based on the Coron DS-8 and neatly packaged into an 8hp module.

Changes to the original DS-8 include:
VCA-like trigger input (more voltage = louder output)
Trimmer-adjustable attack
LED trigger indicator
1v/o tracking (C0-C4)
Triangle core oscillator
Additional noise color switch setting (3 settings instead of 2)
More distinct noise timbres
Louder, improved noise circuit
Really LOW bass frequencies
Total range ~4Hz to 2.6kHz
In addition to being a highly versatile analog drum synth, this unit is also a fully functional monophonic synth that has these features:
1v/o tracking (C0-C4)
Adjustable attack and decay envelope over the VCA
Built-in LFO circuit
Sweep circuit
Noise circuit
Plug your control voltage and gate directly out of your midi-to-CV converter or connect your QuNexus keyboard, Arturia keyboard, or sequencer, and you're ready to make some music!

Note: Complete units come pre-calibrated (according to the Synthrotek Deluxe Power Supply System). If you are building a kit or have a different power supply system, you will need to calibrate the 1v/o tracking using the DS-M calibration guide."

"The Cosmic Echo Squared is the Big Sister of the Cosmic Echo, now with momentary foot switches and expression pedal input!

Features:

- Dark, rich sounds with the analog vibe of a tape echo.

- Contains PT2399 IC, a bucket brigade style emulation. This IC has 16-bit sampling for 30-300 milliseconds. After that, the sample rate goes down in relation to the delay length. This results in artifacts and noise being introduced into the audio for weird, cosmic, psychedelic sounds. Use it like a typical echo or

- Delay length: 30ms-1,250ms.

- 4 knobs: Feedback, Mix, rate and Blast Amount. The Mix is a Wet only control that attenuates the amount of delayed signal in the signal chain. The Feedback controls the number of repeats in an organic-sounding way.

- Warp button. Momentary pushbutton switch that gives a bright, "small" speaker tone.

- Blast button. Momentary pushbutton switch that introduces feedback into the circuit momentarily. Great for adding rhythmic feedback and other strange sounds. The Blast amount can be adjusted by external pot!

- Pedal has a slight volume drop.

- Great for shoegaze, surf rock, ambient and experimental sounds.

- Takes a 9V battery or 9V center negative 2.1-2.5mm barrel Power Adapter (not included).

I was approached by a few new friends I got to meet at MAGfest about getting involved in Operation: 1-UP. They had some spots that they needed filled but, I had to pick a song from a game series I had never played, Kingdom Hearts, and I needed to get it done right away. So, I set out, listening to a bunch of KH music, and I finally decided to do Sora's Theme because it was more upbeat, lighthearted, and ideas started spinning around in my head.

I hope you enjoy it!

Interesting side view of the Synthi.

"EMS SYNTHI AKS. Recently serviced by Phil Ciccerro at CMS Discrete Synths. Had over $1400 work done. I did all the work he recommended. I am also including the briefcase. Its larger than the original, with plenty of customizable space for ext speakers, sub, patch bay, accessories, etc

The speakers are not installed, but the power amp for the speakers come through the custom 1/4' output jacks. I have tried them with various speakers. They drive pretty loudly.

There is one pot that spins, and probably needs replacement, (its a common pot. I need to skeak with Phil, because there are a few small issues, like the pot, and the Right input (for prossesing external signals like Todd rundregren used for guitar etc, doesn't seem to get the hi Z signal. It could be made really nice, with some silk screen refurb on the panel. I also have the keyboard on a separate listing. The last time I checked on another Synthi (Squids Aks) it worked, so im confident it works fine. I don't have the jack to try it. Also its been weirdly modified with a see through window. This Synthi could be made "DELUXE" in a bigger briefcase with some nice patched or installed in the case speakers, maybe a small external Sub, and patch points for speakers, inputs, an effects insert, or send, maybe a bigger reverb tank, so much could be done to make it super cool. We have always talked about making a "DELUXE" AKS. This is a good opportunity for that. Also the Samsonite, Samite briefcase come up on occasion, for around $800, so please figure whatever you may pay for a complete synthi, I would minus about $2000, for the case, a new pot, and some touch up."

"This is the Rare Grey/Black Shadow edition. One of only 666 made. I'm the original and only owner. I used this only in the studio on Cirrus' Counterfeit album. On practically every track. It is amazing. Out of all of the massive vintage synth collection that we had in the Cirrus studio, this is one of the few that I kept when we closed it down. I could have kept the OBMX, the Juno-106 the Matrix, the Minimoog, and I kept this. Because it is the fattest and most versatile synth we had. I can't really say which of our songs it was featured in because it is in all of them. If you have heard a Cirrus track, and you undoubtably have (whether you know it or not) if you watch TV , play video games, or go to the movies, then you have heard this actual synth. Anyway, it's a beast, and you get the original box, the manual and the power supply. and Free Shipping."
