"The Deep Bass Nine was originally marketed as a Roland TB303 clone (it was the first of the breed) but in fact it deserves to be seen as a classic in its own right. As you'd expect it sounds decidedly Roland-like (think SH-101 as much as 303) and as the name implies it has a "big bottom". Unlike the Roland classics it's got good MIDI control of everything you need to make properly naughty basslines.

What you might not expect of the DB9 is just how good it sounds. Unlike most contemporary and modern analogue synths this is not just another "me-too" squelch box, it sounds proper..."

"A bit of a drone on that long haul between Jupiter and the outer cluster of planets. A bit of distortion on the sensor screen, is a cloaked ship nearby?
Experimenting with distortion(Kp2mini) on the Volca Keys, and a less bass-y MS-20mini through a chorus pedal. Volca Bass is going through a Kp2 mini as well. TR-8 rounding it all out. I've been working on a lot patches lately so something crazy should be coming soon(including some vocoder patches). Thanks for watching/listening!

"New jam with the Ciat-Lonbarde Sidrax Organ, Elektron Octatrack and the Korg Electribe 2. The Sidrax provides most of the sound, being fed into the Octatrack. The Electribe is used for some ambiance near the end.

The Octatrack is being used as a looper/effects machine/mangler. I set up flex machines with one shot recording triggers to loop the Sidrax. Each track had different effects, LFOs and triggers already laid down. Some were just looping exactly what I played and some had random triggers with random starting points on the loop. I could reset and re-record the loops with the press of a button thanks to the one shot recorder trigs."
