Rebel Technology OWL Modular & Chronos

Published on Jul 17, 2015 Rebel Technology

"Teaser for the OWL Modular, release date 1 August 2015.

The OWL Modular is a fully programmable digital audio module. With a sophisticated ARM Cortex M4 processor and plenty of memory, it delivers outstanding performance and audio quality. Still, the platform is entirely open source and remarkably easy to program. A growing community of patch developers have created a diverse library of more than 70 effects, including phasers, flangers, delays, reverbs, distortion, compression, filters, shifters, screamers, laughers...

Based on the successful OWL Pedal, the Modular adds CV control and DC-coupled inputs and outputs, while retaining full patch compatibility.

If anyone knows more about this one feel free to comment (no need to login!). The look kind of reminds me of a Vermona '14 meets Baldwin Explorer.

Update: someone in the comments said it looks like a Minisonic 2. I think that might be it (see this post). The knob layout starting with the two large knobs on right match.

The following is the description from the auction. This is not a modular so obviously ignore that bit.

Triadex Muse

"This is a super rare Triadex Muse from the early 1970's is pretty good condition. Less than 300 were made. I've replaced a couple of the little light bulbs that were burned out (they are not very bright anyway), and cleaned it up the best I could - I'm skilled in electronic repairs and restoration BTW.

I've never seen inside one before this, but it appears someone else had done some repairs, so not knowing exactly, I left it alone. It works great though.

The knobs on the 4 slide pots are missing but that doesn't affect its function. It's a bit fragile, in that it's mechanical wooden design is rather poor - not something you'll want to tour with! ;-) , but it's sturdy enough for casual play in your studio..."

"Up for sale is Korg M-500 Micro-Preset vintage analog synthesizer, one of the most earliest and rarest synths Korg produced in the '70s. This one is a super rare version that Korg made under the name of Victor, which has different coloring to the genuine Korg M-500, although the synth itself are exactly the same.

The unit appears to be working fine, all the keys and sliders and buttons worked well to the best of my knowledge. Maybe a slight bad contacts on some of the switches, which could probably do with some adjustment/servicing..."

Roland Jupiter 8 Synthesizer with Encore MIDI

"This Jupiter 8 analog synth is in great working condition and very nice physical condition. The display is in nice condition as well. Includes professionally installed Encore MIDI kit which adds MIDI, doubles the number of memory patches from 64 to 128 and adds sysex dump so patches can now be saved to your computer instead of cassette (not bad for a synth made in the early 1980's)."
