This time we made some beats with the Qu-Bit Electronix - Tri-Ger hitting some Mutant Drums from Hexinverter and the Tiptop Audio - CYMBL909. The triggers were delayed with the Steady State Fate - Propagate. We added some (tube) warmth to the audio signal path with the Erica Synths - Fusion Mixer V2, which we attenuated a bit befor sending it to our current favourite DSP module, the Erica Synths - Black Hole DSP.

In its first edition (Sines & Squares 2014), it featured some of the most renown UK and international performers, composers, lecturers and designers working with Buchla, Serge, Eurorack, Hordijk and EMS modular systems. It also includes theoretical 'Patchbay Sessions' with papers and presentations focused on modular synthesis, a Modular Lounge (system demos) and many more things.

Sines & Squares 2016 Edition
We are delighted to announce the second edition of the Sines & Squares Festival (due to popular demand!).

The Festival will include:

Concerts including live performances and fixed media works on the theme featuring the MANTIS System (large-scale sound diffusion system)
“Patchbay Sessions” with musical interludes (paper presentations and discussion proposals which are interpolated with short etude pieces.

"Here is a jam I performed of Strobe, which is one of my favorite dance anthems. All of the synth sounds are coming from my DIY Mutable Instruments Ambika. The synth and drums are sequenced by Maschine. The effects are being made by feedback delay on my guitar, which I am controlling with Maschine."
