Kurzweil 250 Demonstration Record ( 1984 )

"Kurzweil 250 Demonstration Record ( 1984 )"
RIP Luna
This breaks my heart. Luna of CatSynth passed away:
"It is through tears and with the heaviest of hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved Luna. She passed away quietly and peacefully this afternoon.
Since suspending treatment, I have endeavored to keep her happy and comfortable and surrounded by love. The cancer continued to spread and over the past week it was clear just how much pain and difficulty she was in. It was my last gift to her to let her go and be free of the pain. Knowing that, it hasn’t made it any easier to say goodbye."
It never does. I had to put my cat JD down back in 2007 (CatSynth was kind enough to post about it) and I still miss him greatly. Pets will always have your back (if you let them). Certain pets more so than others. JD was one of them, and I know Luna was as well. They let you become who you want to be. They are your confidante in life. Loosing them feels like loosing a part of yourself. Luna will not only be missed by her owner and friend Amanda, but by those of us that have enjoyed her virtual company online through numerous posts on CatSynth, and a few here on MATRIXSYNTH. We will never forget you Luna!

New Eurorack Format Moog Clone Modules from AION Modular & Mini System
Above is the AION Modular eurorack system based on clones of vintage Moog modules. Below are details on the four new modules from AION Modular. Click through for details on prior modules featured in the system above.
904C FILTER COUPLER
The AION Modular 904C Filter Coupler is an Eurorack clone of the classic Moog™ Modular 904C.
The 904C Filter Coupler connects the 904A Lowpass and the 904B Highpass together to produce a Bandpass or a Band Reject filter response.
Bandwidth can be extended to three octaves and Center Frequency ranges from 5Hz to 20KHz. Both can be controlled manually or via control voltage.
The 904C provides a wide variety of signal processing and we strongly encourage experimentation but we advise to start with the following settings:
904A Fixed Control Voltage +6
904A Frequency Range 2
904B Fixed Control Voltage -1
904B Frequency Range LOW
The 904A and the 904B are required to use the 904C.
In the "OFF" position, the 904A and 904B are disconnected from the 904C an can be used independently.
The connection cables are provided with the module.
Specifications:
Power: +12 (30mA), -12 (15mA)
Depth: 20mm
Doepfer compatible.
PRICE: 240€

Buchla 296e tutorial 9
Published on Nov 4, 2016 Todd Barton
"I'm really excited about this tutorial! Having methodically covered the Buchla 296e manual in episodes 1-8, I took a break and explored new territory beyond the manual. This time looking to see if the 296e would feedback on itself. It does! and it is amazing! Enjoy."
"Here is a compilation of brief snippets from those feedback experiments."

Break (original song on Circuit synth) - and a thank you! | Deerful

"A quick original song from me, on the Novation Circuit again. Excuse the state of my workspace, and please do like and subscribe if you'd like to see more. Lyrics and explanation of my weird recording method under here...
Break under the waves that call your name
Shake under the weight of all you made
Even though it’s hard to forget
All of the shadows that descend
Take all of the fears you had away
Wake up from the sleep that bears the cost
Ache deep in your heart for all you lost
As the morning comes to find you
And as the night is at an end
Make all your amends and seize the day
CHORUS
Pull back from the tide that drew you in
Face into the sun that warmed your skin
Sing out for the ones who caused you pain
Rise up and be happy once again
Look out from the shore to see the sky
Let go of the past and question why
Sing out for the ones who caused you pain
Rise up and be happy once again
Break under the waves that call your name
Shake under the weight of all you made
Even though it’s hard to forget
All of the shadows that descend
Take all of the fears you had away
My 8-bit EP, Home, is out on WIAIWYA now: https://wiaiwya.bandcamp.com/album/ho...
Someone asked how I recorded this - this is how:
USB cardioid mic into Ableton, track muted; circuit into iRig Pro into Ableton, track soloed but very low volume so I can *just* hear it enough to sing with but there's not much bleed into the mic and I can mix them separately. I'm mostly using visual feedback from the Circuit to sing to. I hate performing with headphones enough that I'd rather do it like this even though I know it's a stupid setup."
