"The OP-1 is a digital synthesizer workstation made by Teenage Engineering. People ask a lot of it it's a good synth for someone just getting into music. This attempts to answer that. This video represents my opinion and is not made to dissuade anyone from getting an OP-1. It addresses some of the limitations of the device (which some find beneficial) and some of the things I went through when starting out making music. Everyone is different!"

The one thing a computer can't do, of course, is emulate the hardware interface.

This is a longer-running version of the previous patch, but with different notes programmed into the sequencers, and slightly more animated. Equipment used: Moog Mother-32 (x3), Make Noise 0-Coast, Make Noise modules (DPO, Maths, Moddemix, Optomix, Wogglebug, Rosie). Reverb is from a Strymon BigSky and TC Hall of Fame."

This is a two-day event at April 24-25 2017 which will take place at the prestigious IED - European Design Institute known for its programs in design, fashion, and visual communication.

IED’s new campus, covering over 2.400 sqm comprised of 14 lecture halls, will host the event. Located in the historic building of the foundation Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze, in the center of Florence, it is very close to the cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore; an outstanding exhibition area to demo your synths and meet with artists.
