Verbos Bark Filter demo

Published on Jan 25, 2017 Perfect Circuit Audio

"The Bark Filter Processor is a 12 band fixed filter bank with individual outputs and envelope followers on each band as well as a voltage controlled mixer for blending the outputs. The filters are steep, 6th order bandpass filters with yellow LEDs indicating the level at the envelope followers’ outputs. The voltage controlled mixer has sliders and individual CV ins and draws the, “center”, “width” and “tilt” controls from the Harmonic Oscillator allow- ing the fixed filters to be scanned across blended and mixed in various ways, all at the same time. The even and odd filters can be patched in and out separately and one side’s followers can control the other side’s levels like a vocoder."

"This is a standard 5 voice version of the Studio Electronics Omega 8 synthesizer. 5 voices discrete with Moog/Oberheim filters. This is not a proper Red Eye version. I preferred the face plate as it was a bit more updated looking and allegedly is one of only2 made. Please note: the panel indicates a sine wave option for oscillator 1, this is something included in the Code or an fully upgraded red eye. This particular machine has triangle .It is structurally identical to a standard Omega 8. This was originally a blue face model. Studio electronics can complete the process of turning this into a Red Eye {adding overdrive, red buttons and osc mod} if you wish."

EMW RESONANT FILTER SEQUENCER

Published on Jan 25, 2017 EMW Synthesizers

"Our new module, a resonant filter that works in steps. There are 8 frequency bands (+/- 10db) that can be summed to or subtracted from the signal path. There are also a 4*2 mode where two bands are activated together and 4 sequence modes, Up, Down, Alternate and Random. And free of charge comes the unparalleled EMW sound quality."

Frostwave Blue Ringer Ring Mod pedal by Paul Perry

"One used Frostwave Blue Ringer Ring Mod Pedal with power supply. Great shape, barely used, works great.

The Frostwave Blue Ringer is a true bypass box, with the standard ring mod controls of a wet/dry mix and oscillator frequency. There is a level control for the input signal, as well as a second input signal (allowing Input B to become the modulation source for the main input) and a blend control, determining the mix of the internal oscillator and Input B as the modulation source.

This particular ring modulator is excellent because it is a true proponent of the effect-- it will cross-modulate two signals. You can feed absolutely anything into Input B and have it ring modulate your main input (which is fantastic for vocal effects), and allows both the second input and the internal sine wave oscillator at the same time, offering a great deal of depth and variety. Similarly, when using just the internal oscillator, lessening the mix (i.e, adding more of the nonexistent Input B) lowers the gain of the oscillator, drastically changing the effect.

There is a control voltage input in the back for controlling the frequency of the oscillator (CV only-- Frostwave doesn't accept expression pedals, and are true to their modular synth ethos), allowing for realtime pitch sweeps. This input accepts both positive and negative voltage, so it's possible to sweep down from the slowest frequency setting, lowering the frequency to a slow tremolo..."
