Rossum Control Forge - First Exploratory Test

"This is a first, quick, exploratory test of the amazingly powerful Rossum CONTROL FORGE Programmable Universal CV Generator... five minutes after unboxing and installing; haven't read the manual yet, just going through a few of the presets. I'm basically just using the Control Forge as a Sequencer, and as a Looping Envelope Generator... I haven't even scratched the surface of what all the Control Forge can do! Patch Notes:

The CV Out of the Control Forge is going into the V/OCT of the Mutable Instruments BRAIDS. Trigger Out of the Control Forge is going into Trigger In of Mutable Instruments PEAKS (with Peaks in Envelope Mode) and then Peaks going into Mutable WARPS (with Warps acting as a VCA.) On occasion, I don't even use the Trigger Out of Control Forge at all.

There is a touch of delay from the 4MS DUAL LOOPING DELAY here and there, and a touch of reverb from Mutable Instruments CLOUDS."

"Today's patch is an acid jam. beneath the simple techno tune is several hours of time spent trying to make the Mutable Instruments Rings module generate sounds which it's not exactly known for. It is making the textural parts at the beginning."
