"CAN A FILTER SOUND MILKY? Certainly the first time I've heard a filter sound referred to as milky! But I like it. The ZMF is a prototype quad morphing filter for eurorack that has a tonne of VCAs over series and parallel routings internally and over each filter type/mode to morph smoothly between LP/BP/HP on each side. Looking forward to seeing how this develops, more sound demos on the Zetaohm soundcloud page."

"ZMF features four State Variable Filters, two for the left channel, two for the right. 20 internal VCAs are used to provide control over the filter transfer function, allowing you to organize the filters in serial, or parallel, and continuously morph between any combination of LP, BP and HP for each filter by means of an internal scanner circuit. With a fully analog signal path, this module uses a digital control matrix to provide flexible control over the filter parameters. ZMF will feature both exponential FM, as well as linear FM."

"Everything in this video is sequenced with the Zetaohm FLXS1 eurorack sequencer. The FLXS1 is a 64 step 4 track sequencer with one gate and two CV outputs per track. The FLXS1 or Fluxus One has a few tricks as well, including LFO, envelope and other outputs on the 2nd CV output of each track.

"In honor of April 14th (incidentally my fathers birthday, as well as my late pet bird Mango's birthday) I am demoing FLXS1 song mode with a three voice rendition of Aphex Twin's Avril 14. Main voice is the Macbeth Micromac, bassline is an Acidlab M303, and accents are the Intellijel Atlantis. All sequenced with Zetaohm FLXS1, in one take, with 7 separate patterns sequenced with song mode.

The new firmware will be released very soon, with a full manual update as well as a complete demo video. Stay tuned!

Fluxus One Annoted Demonstration Patch

"This patch is using the Fluxus One to sequence
Intellijel Atlantis, Macbeth Micromac, MFB Drum08
and Erica Pico Drum. Tempi is used for some modulation
and to trigger the Erica Pico Drum High Hat. The Micromac is fed through a Make Noise Erbe Verb and the Erica Drums are fed into a 4MS DLD."

"Here we see the FLXS1 sequencing multiple modules simultaneously: the Macbeth Micromac, Intellijel Atlantis, Mutable Instruments Rings and a Ladik D-333 with the Korg ROM Chip installed. UAD Apollo was used for reverb and recording. Everything is recorded in one take. Levels are the only thing that were modified after recording. FLXS1 is running in quantized mode to keep all notes in tune. The FLXS1 was reset before this take, all melodies were programmed live during recording."
