"Lovely old 1980s polysynth from Crumar. The BIT 99

2 oscillator utilising DCO's with analogue VCF and VCA. 6 voices with a double layer mode for Phat sounds or split mode (2 different sounds at the same time or split across the keys), also a clever stereo mode. It is capable of the classic 80s synth pop sounds and big resonant filter sweeps and is also amazing at ambient piano and bass sounds. Also very capable of FX stuff, and has a nice velocity feature! Programming is easier than it looks, just take a peek at the parameter map, punch in the number and tweak. Not as fast as a synth with knobs but the reward is great as the sounds of this thing are truly unique !"

Exploring the Ensoniq ESQ1 - Stacking Waveforms

Published on May 29, 2017 Todd Smith

"This video will start to explore the Ensoniq ESQ1. I'll start with a simple 3 Saw preset and then change a few oscillators Waveforms to create new results. The Ensoniq ESQ1 is a classic 80s digital hybrid workstation which stills holds it own in a modern studio.

Million Machine March (formerly Ninstrument) has a new port of the Moog Werkstatt 01 in eurorack format. The new design is not only closer to the classic Moog module aesthetic, but also a few hp narrower. You can find the original WST-E1 Werkstatt ported here for comparison.

Million Machine March has also ported Moog's Moogerfoogers to eurorack modular format.

[Demo] New Module from Alright Devices! - T-Wrex

Published on May 28, 2017 anthony burchell

"Howdy! So excited to show off the newest module from Alright Devices! A bit crushing, sound decimating, cv mangling Dino!

The T-Wrex! I've had the privledge of getting to know this little guy for some time now and can say with confidence it is a super inspiring module for many reasons. I particularly love using decimation on saws through a filter. Vowely sounds! Both effects are normaled to each other or can be used independently in their own chains. The bit crushing makes an excellent utility for CV mangling as well. Alright! :D"

Ibanez Bi-Mode Chorus Pedal Demo w/ Synthesizers #9

Published on May 28, 2017 gstormelectro

"Audio and Video by G-Storm Electro c.2017

In this video I demonstrate the Ibanez Bi-Mode Chorus with a Roland Alpha Juno-1 synthesizer. This is a vintage analog chorus from the 80s that uses Panasonic BBD Chips. It has only one chorus line like most pedals. However it is modulated by two LFOs w/ corresponding width (amount) knobs on each! How does it sound with a synthesizer? You be the judge."
