Willzyx Xoxbox - Analog Bass Synth - Roland TB 303 clone

"This is a Xoxbox, professionally built by Willzyx in 2012, in perfect condition. All functions work as expected. This has Sokkos 2.0 OS installed, which allows triplets and expands the sequencer functions. This xoxbox was built before Willzyx stopped using the original 303 parts, so to my knowledge it should have all the OG transistors and sound more like an actual 303 than the more recent xox's. To my ears, it is indistinguishable from a 303 - sounds incredible for basslines and chirpy acid lines. You'd be crazy to spend 3k on a 303 when you can get one of these for so much less. Only selling because I'm downsizing my studio for financial reasons.

x0xb0x = Synth + Sequencer
The x0xb0x is not just another MIDI-controlled TB-303 clone. x0xb0x is a full reproduction of the original Roland synthesizer, with fully functional sequencer. The sequencer can be programmed just like the original 303 (ok its actually a little easier, we think) and can be used to control other synthesizers via any of its various output formats. 128 banks of track memory and 64 banks of pattern memory are stored in onboard EEPROM, no battery-backup is needed!"

Emerson Modular System & More Coming to Gearfest 2017 This Weekend

via Moog Music:

"This weekend, Moog Music travels to Fort Wayne, Indiana for Gearfest 2017: two days of hands-on music technology demonstrations, workshops from top engineers and artists, amazing musical performances and exclusive on-site deals.

Visit us at Gearfest to see the Emerson Moog Modular System, watch a live build of a limited-edition instrument and explore the outdoor 'synth garden'...

In the summer of 1970, Moog Music shipped a model I-CA synthesizer to Keith Emerson. Over the course of many years, Emerson collaborated with Bob Moog on the commission of dozens of custom modules to complete his megalithic Moog. Using original documentation, circuit board and art files, Moog engineers spent three years rebuilding Keith Emerson's legendary Moog Modular system. Each module is hand-stuffed and hand-soldered using the original parts and processes of the 1970s. We will be demonstrating the Emerson Moog Modular System on the Crescendo Stage at Gearfest 2017 and the final E.M.M.S. (only 2 others exist in the world, excluding Keith's original) will be available for purchase exclusively through Sweetwater."

"Experience Production of a Limited-Edition Instrument

Analog production moves from Asheville, NC to Fort Wayne, IN as we build a limited-edition instrument live at Gearfest 2017. Visit the Moog Pop-Up Factory at the Crescendo Stage to discover the details of the build and experience hands-on instrument production. All instruments built during Gearfest will be available for purchase on-site or exclusively through Sweetwater.com."

"Visit the Outdoor Synth Garden

In addition to the Moog Pop-Up Factory and the Emerson Moog Modular System on display at the indoor Crescendo Stage, you can also enjoy refreshments with the Moog crew and walk in the cool grass of our outdoor "synth garden" located at Booth C4 in the Electronic Music Production Tent."

Happy Nerding Intoduces new OUT Eurorack Module

"'OUT' provides two balanced outs (Left and Right) for the summed two stereo inputs. One of these stereo inputs can be attenuated with the relative knob next to its input jacks. Also there are jumpers on the back side to select 10x amplification for this input. Thus, in case some line level devices are used, they can easily be amplified to normal modular levels. This way the module replaces some input modules people use only for amplification.

There is also a standard ¼ inch jack for the headphones. The headphones level is independently adjusted with the lower knob, while upper knob adjusts main out (L&R) which is then shown by the leds meter.

There are also two jumpers on the back pcb which set phones level (for L and R channels). When they installed the phones level is at max. But if the user has high sensitivity headphones – he can remove these jumpers and get more adequate adjustment for his phones level with inner knob.

The price is targeted for 160 Euro + VAT or 180 USD.

6 HP width, 50 mm depth.

The module is currently available at Schneider’s Laden showroom, so can be tweaked in flesh."

Audiothingies MicroMonsta Online Patch Shaker

via Francesco Mulassano of Synth Meeting:

"Here we go! version 0.0.2 of my little software is online, it works only on google chrome on win/mac/linux.

Upload your MicroMonsta sysex file, reorder the patches and save a new sysex file to upload on our beloved synthesizers.

There is still much work to do, such as creating new files by taking patches from different archives, renaming or deleting patches... in the future, maybe, read and write sysex data through Web Midi API but this require a SSL certificate for the website... and time to work on it

This piece if software is released for free and as is!!

Make always a backup of your patches!

This software don't save any kind of data, there is no cookies, no database, sysex file (for now) lives only in your browser.
