Rheyne - Sequenced Jam #43 (Moog Mother-32, Moog DFAM, Make Noise Eurorack)

Published on Jul 8, 2017 Rheyne

"A variation of a previous patch with some lighting added using Ableton and Max for Live. All notes are triggered by the synths, no MIDI is being sent from Ableton. Lighting is triggered from the inputs on the Expert Sleepers ES-8. Reverb is from a Strymon BigSky, and audio was recorded straight from the mixer."

"This uses most of the wave outputs from each of the three MOS-LAB Model 15 oscillators, either as audio or as modulation sources. The first changes are made by modulating the VCF by adding sine waves from Osc 1 and 2, then a sawtooth from Osc 3, one a time. Then a Moog Sub 37 joins in with high tones, then another Sub 37 adds an eight-beat sequence. One take. No overdubbing. Model 15 patch as shown."

AX80 v Virus TI A/B test #2 (Which is which?)

Published on Jul 8, 2017 MIDERA

"Here's my second shot at an A/B comparison between the AX80 and the Virus TI. My first test only used one patch. This time, there are 4 patches. For each patch I play either synth first (no order). Pick which synth is which! To make it easy, designate by guessing which is the AX80 for the 4 patches in order (i.e. A B A B)."
