Another Behringer Teaser
This new pic is making the rounds. Some question whether it could be an ARP 2600 clone, but I'm not seeing it. Look at the 7 x 8 patch grid, the MIDI/DIN socket and the knob placement. If you have any ideas, feel free to leave a comment.
The previous leak had the following:
WASP DELUXE
ARP 2600
Octave CAT
SYNTHI VCS3
Roland SH-101 (3 colors)
KORG MS20
None appear to match as far as a direct clone goes. Maybe it will be based on one like the DeepMind 12 was based on the Roland Juno-106.

Mason Self TRILLER Midi Pitch Controller

"Triller is an alternative Midi Controller for sending pitch bend messages."
via Mason Self
"I'm very excited to share this project.
I've been curious about different approaches to designing MIDI controllers. For this first project, I'm focusing on harnessing pitch bend in a more flexible way than a pitch bend wheel, and a more fun way than - God forbid - the pencil tool in your DAW.
I've made a very small batch of Trillers and I'd love to share them with you. Since this is still a beta version, I'm asking $150 + shipping (that's cost of materials and a tiny bit extra for labor). I'm also asking that you go the distance with me and give me feedback to make the Triller even better. It's fully functional, but I have hunch that you can help me hone in the last 5-15% of the design / functionality / use.
Please watch this tutorial and make sure you understand the specs before purchasing. I do not think the Triller is for everyone, but could be an exciting new tool for some.
SPECS
Arduino based MIDI controller
5" x 3 3/16" x 3"
Communicates via USB
Bus or DC Powered
Can be used to control any soft or hardware synthesizer that speaks MIDI
Does not generate sound on it's own."

Macbeth's Elements Synthesizer Droning (Have a Nice Trip)
Published on Jan 1, 2018 martinjazz78
"(For your maximum experience good speakers or headphones are recommended while watching the video)
Ken Macbeth's Elements Synthesizer droning while ring modulated with Moogerfooger MF-102. Its Carrier Out goes into Ext. Amp In on the Elements and gets pretty bad, I would say.
Modulations option on the Elements Synthesizer are indeed very complex and rich and quickly gets you to rather distant galaxies. On-board delay (also heavily modulated) adds great organic feel. If you may, listen also with subwoofer, so you enjoy also the Elements' low end pumping.
Only Elements' internal on-board effects (reverb and delay) used. No further processing. Tweaked live on the fly, no over-dubbing etc.
I hope you are having a nice trip and your landing is going to be safe ;)"
AI Synthesis AI004 DIY Eurorack OTA Filter First Look
Published on Jan 1, 2018 AI Synthesis
"A really rough mid-recording preview of the AI004. Note that because I was recording, there is some compression, delay, and reverb on the synth audio. I was recording for the new force damage album and thought I would take a break to quickly record the new AI004 Eurorack DIY Filter from aisynthesis.com. This is a candid, off the cuff recording so the mic is just a condenser sitting on the shelf, I have a cough, and the rack isn't lit for recording, so take it all with a grain of salt."
Update: details posted here.
