"I was playing with my MS-20 mini and figured out how Daft Punk made that really nice filter sweep sound on their track Burnin'. So I built a simple 16 beat loop around it. I hope you enjoy it!
Sounds:
Octatrack master out - kick and snare
Octatrack cue out to Moogerfooger MF-101 - bass sample
Moog Voyager - Synth bass
Roland TR-09 to Sherman FB2 - hihats and clap
Korg MS-20 mini - Filter sweep
MS-20 settings: The sound is created with the lowpass filter oscillating with max resonance. The oscillators are actually turned all the way down so you can't hear them. The output is fed back into the external processor to add that nice gritty distortion the MS-20 is known for. When I first heard Burnin', I always thought the sounds was created by an LFO sweeping the frequency, but the sound is actually triggered on the 1st and 3rd beat and the sweep is created by the filter envelope. The envelope attack stays the same and the decay is changed to create that signature sound."

"Demonstration of how to alter a program to create a new synthesizer, and also how to use the arpeggiator on the Korg Poly 61-M"
via this auction
"The Korg Poly 61M, first of the Nobless synthesizers, is the same as the Poly61 but with a MIDI in/our port. This machine is in superb shape, with excellent circuit board, and all components are in full working order. The best way to see how amazing this instrument this is, is by watching a short tutorial on the two best selling points of this instrument- the arpeggiator and, of course, making programs that can be saved to memory. The biggest cosmetic defects are a ding in the back corner (visible in the power-cable photo, and some spray paint dots on the left side)."
