Rossum Electro-Music Announces Trident Multi-Synchronic Oscillator Ensemble
"Triple Analog Oscillator Eurorack Module Offers a Vast Array of Unique Timbral Textures
(Santa Cruz, CA, January 22, 2019) — Rossum Electro-Music has announced that they will be previewing their new TRIDENT Multi-Synchronic Oscillator Ensemble at the 2019 NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA from January 24th through 27th.
The latest brainchild of synth pioneer Dave Rossum, TRIDENT is a 100% analog, triple oscillator module that opens up a universe of dynamic timbral textures.
At its most basic level, TRIDENT is three precision audio VCOs, each sporting a unique variety of control voltage inputs.
The main or “Carrier" oscillator provides its three waveforms simultaneously. The two Modulation Oscillators each have a single output and a waveform selector. The Modulation Oscillators also have a voltage controlled Symmetry parameter which varies the duty cycle of the triangle wave output from sawtooth to triangle back to time reversed sawtooth, and also varies the sawtooth output to have an upward or downward kink in the middle, as well as controlling pulse width when the pulse waveform is selected.

Deckard's Dream Blade Runner Blues Lead Demo
"Vangelis' famous CS-80 sound played on Deckard's Dream with string machine and Rhodes backing. No pitch bend wheel used - the bend effect is a combination of the CS-80/DD "Initial Bend" and the Sustain II voice mode."

Loads of useful presets and loads of space for your own sounds. The controls are right there at your fingertips. A truly plug-and-play bundle of joy!

449.00 USD

Packed with great sounds
The sound engine uses high-quality digital samples. There are 300 preset sounds supplied by Splice, ranging from the familiar kicks, snares, and hi-hats to exotic, never-before-heard ones. With a few tweaks, you can easily personalize any sample until it sounds just the way you want it. Transfer your own samples into it, or use any of the expertly crafted custom sound packs.
Dedicated knobs
As an Elektron first, this machine offers a complete set of tactile controls, with one function per knob. They’re all right there on the front panel; just grab a knob and twist it. Unleash your music spontaneously using the six tough, velocity-sensitive pads. Record your every move live, or punch in your creation one step at a time using the superb Elektron sequencer.
Ready to go
At under one kilogram, you’re getting the benefits of a light and convenient machine that will surprise you with its snarling sonic power.
Key Features
Control All lets you twist your sounds to oblivion. Then use Reload to take you back to where you started
Use Parameter Locks to automate parameters. Each step can have a totally different sound
Load six samples at once – just like a kit. Great when you have made a Pattern with Parameter Locks, LFOs etc…
Load six new samples to instantly experiment and come up with unique and unexpected results
Write basslines and melodies using Chromatic Mode

Prophet X sounds by Everett Dudgeon Part 2
Published on Jan 21, 2019 EverettDudgeon138
"Here are some sounds I've been working on with my Prophet X. Some patches are direct covers of movie themes but a lot of them are original sounds inspired by these flicks. No overdubs or mastering. Everything is played in real time or with the accompaniment of the onboard sequencer and arpeggiator.
There are some common influences in there like Big Trouble In Little China, The Blob and Children Of The Corn but there's also a lot of obscure ones like Robowar, Blood Beach and Aenigma.
Enjoy!

Prototype Dubreq Stylophone S2 SN 8P3G1P

"This is a very rare pre-production version of an obscure, but amazing-sounding 2-VC0 analogue synthesizer that was handmade in very limited quantities in Hastings in the UK. There's no box, but has a downloaded manual and is in very good condition.
This prototype has the beautiful metal ends that were replaced on the production version by not so nice white thermo-moulded plastic. This means the end cheeks are not labelled on this machine, but the controls there are just CV; gate; tuning; volume; external input; and power input.
This may appeal more to a collector given its somewhat eccentric design, but capable of very raw and powerful sounds, particularly if you like Radiophonic-style music or vintage EMS-style sounds. See Cuckoo and Automatic Gainsay clips on Youtube for a good demonstration of what it can do.
The S2 can be played from its own Wasp-like keyboard (by hand or stylus, included) or controlled via CV/gate. I ran it with a Roland A-01 for MIDI control, but any standard MIDI-CV converter such as a Kenton would do the job."

"Thunderous unit, plenty of tweakable knobs, midi controllable (in and thru), they only come with euro power buy uk adapter included as per pic.
Site blurb......
MBS-100 is a monophonic bass synthesizer inspired by synthesizers produced in the soviet era times while having the flexibility, MIDI control and compact package of the 21st century. It has 19 knobs, 3 switches and 4 buttons with which you can control the parameters of the sound and MIDI.
- Method of synthesis: Hybrid analog-digital synthesis
- Voltage-controlled digital oscillators (VCDO): Two, each with four waveforms: saw, square, pulse 1 (25% rate), pulse 2 (10% rate). Note: Pulse 1 and 2 are similar to PMW but are fixed similar to Aelita, Polivoks synthesizers for example
- Octave ranges: 3 octaves for OSC1 and 5 octaves for OSC2
- Voltage Controlled Filter (VCF): One fully analog 12 db/oct low pass filter with cutoff and resonance parameters
- Envelope Generators (ADSR): Two
- Voltage Controlled Amplifier (VCA): One, fully analog distortion effect selection switch
- Low frequency oscillator (LFO): One with two waveform options (square and triangle) to control the VCF
- MIDI interface: MIDI In, MIDI Thru (16 channels + Omni)
- Audio output: One mix output (mono 6.3 mm jack)
- Controls: 19 knobs, 3 switches, 4 buttons and 11 LED indicators
