The Sample Drum is composed of two identical parts and allows you to play back, record and slice up samples or loops directly in your modular system. For processing there are different play modes, tuning functions (including 1 V/Oct pitch tracking), virtual VCAs plus AD envelopes and realtime effects. Three freely assignable CV inputs per channel guarantee a lot of expression during performance. 16bit mono wav samples are loaded into RAM (32MB / ~ 5 minutes of sampling time) from SD card (16 GB SD card with factory preset samples comes with the module) for instantaneous playback response. All settings can be saved and recalled during live performance."

"Was messing around with the envelope follower on the Ciat-Lonbarde Cocoquantus 2 and thought you might be interested to hear a bit. I record a sample with acoustic guitar and loop it, then patch the envelope follower to modulate the pitch and loop speed. After recording the loop I turn down the volume on the dry signal so all you hear is the loop being modulated by me playing the guitar over it.

"The is a 6-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer released in 1982. It was the first commercially available synth to include MIDI functionality. The 600's analog voice's are controlled by a Zilog Z80 CPU. Though state-of-the-art at the time of its release, the Z80's specs means the synth feels limited and slow to respond to changes compared to modern instruments. Luckily, synthesizer enthusiast & engineer has written for the Prophet 600, designed to run on a . Replacing the 600's Z80 with a Teensy++ running Gligli's firmware adds a long list of features to the classic synth, including:

"Korg Sigma..... It's a killer monophonic, including bizarro features like quarter tone. I'm letting this go bc I have my original one and this is a double. What's little known about this 1975 synth is that it has a prototype of the ms-20 filter onboard, as well as 2 (two) 360-degree JOYSTICKS for pitch and filter, respectively. nothing like it. This one has a portamento switch mod my tech implemented as well for max playability!"
