Playing Behringer MODEL D From GUITAR - Audio-to-Synth / Sonicsmith CONVERTER+ A1 / Guitarsynth

Published on Mar 9, 2019 VolcaRock

"Quick demo of my Behringer Model D playing from Guitar!
Sonicsmith Coverter+ converts the audiosignal from my guitar to pitch and gate for my Model D. The tracking is pretty fast. Model D behaves like my guitar :-)
The final sound is 100% Behringer Model D. On one patch I fed the Audio Controlled Oscillator ACO of the Converter+ into the Model D mixer as additional Sound source. And I used the LFO of the A1 Module for the Model Ds filter.

In the past I used a Midi-based guitarsynthesizer from Roland with my Godin LGX.-SA with build-in Piezo pickups for MIDI tracking. But the Sonicsmith Converter+ tracks faster. Of course you have to play very accurate (not like me) to get results without glitch.
No MIDI has been used for these recordings!

PAD:
Oberheim Matrix 1000
