"The Synth works perfectly.
The EWI1000 controller has two tiny issues:
1. The element what closing the circuit at the sensor is switched to wrong place.
2. The piece what controls the vibration should be solder together.
PLEASE CHECK PHOTOS TO FULLY UNDERSTAND THE ISSUES.

Otherwise everything works as should (It can be tested with touching the sensor)."

Curious how this differs from the D-2. You can find some pics of the inside of the DX5 here. There were a ton of other brands and model numbers as well. These remind me of the Atari Punk Console of the time. Tons of makes and models of the same or similar design. These appear to all be branded products vs. boutique DIY.
