Tube by Sinevibes - Korg multi engine plugin
Published on May 8, 2019 Sinevibes
"Tube is an oscillator plugin for Korg’s multi engine. It couples a super-flexible noise generator with a feed-forward comb filter, a combination that we call “resonator modeling synthesis”. By modulating the noise density, the noise generator can create a very wide variety of signals such as bursts, gusts of air or sand, scratching, particles dropping onto a surface – and beyond. When these special signals are used to “excite” the resonator, Tube produces incredibly lively, nature-like tones: from woodwinds, plucked and bowed strings, to much more experimental, randomly evolving ones. Tube also features its own low-frequency oscillator, an envelope generator, and allows its noise signal to be used dry for even more sound design possibilities.
Pittsburgh Modular Voltage Research Laboratory Introduction
Published on May 8, 2019 Pittsburgh Modular Synthesizers
via Kickstarter
"The Voltage Research Laboratory is a completely different analog synthesizer where every function of the instrument has been influenced by the behaviors and systems of the natural world. Wildly experimental and extremely deep, the Voltage Research Laboratory is a sonic playground created to explore the natural systems and lesser known fringes of analog synthesis.
The Voltage Research Laboratory is 100% eurorack modular format compatible and is comprised of 3 separate eurorack modules housed together in a purpose-built, handmade eurorack enclosure. More than a collection of tools and functions, it is a unique modular synthesizer designed to reward deep experimentation and encourage the creation of unique sonic systems."

UNO Drum Features Overview

UNO Drum Tutorial: Play/Program Section
Update: some pics and details via IK Multimedia:
"UNO Drum is the ultimate beat creation station for anyone and everyone to create warm, punchy, high-quality, and inspiring grooves. Made in collaboration with Italian analog specialist Soundmachines, UNO Drum follows the acclaimed UNO Synth, combining massive analog tone with digital flexibility and convenience.

12 killer sounding drum elements

Plus, added PCM elements (with 54 samples to choose from) are available for additional sonic flavors. Toms, rims, cowbells, rides, and crash cymbals help you create complex, unique, and full rhythm tracks. UNO Drum lets you use up to 12 elements in total between analog and digital sounds (11 voice polyphony).
All of the above can be stored and recalled on the fly with 100 drum kit presets, all pre-programmed and fully editable at your leisure. It’s a breeze to find an IK inspired kit that catches your ear and tweak to fit your taste, or create your custom kits from scratch. Make something you like and save and store for later use – UNO Drum is ready to recall your beats whenever you are.
UNO Drum also offers 3 master effects: analog drive and compressor and a stutter effect. Turn up the drive to make your grooves hit harder with an aggressive edge. Add compression to make your tracks tighter, gluing together your rhythm with a fat and heavy punch. Like what you hear? Good. Your settings will save right with your kit for instant recall. Stutter offers adjustable depth, from subtle tremolos to full-on slices, to create different feeling sounds and grooves.
Wider sonic palette
UNO Drum lets you freely swap analog and digital elements, so you never have to feel limited by pre-set combinations. Between the analog engine designed by SoundMachines and samples drawn from IK’s award-winning SampleTank sound & groove workstation, the diverse collection of sounds encourages fresh ideas and unique creation."

If all that is not enough, we have also released Wavetabler - a simple but very useful, easy and efficient wave table patcher. A great solution for creating your own tables from single cycles or for preparing a wavetable from one synth's specs to another.
All this - Polyphenom 2 + both DLC packs + Wavetabler can be had in one affordable bundle at just 60e on offer instead of 80e! There is also an offer for just the synth.
All the info and grab it here: https://oceanswift.net/polyphenom/
For previous Polyphenom owners, we also offer a bundle of both DLC packs + Wavetabler for just 22e on offer instead of 30e

Mystery Circuits' Grateful Dead Emulator II Restoration
Published on May 6, 2019 mysterycircuits
Above are a couple of demos of an Emu Emulator II restored by Mystery Circuits. Is it the same one you see pictured left with Brent Mydland of The Grateful Dead? You can find a post covering some of the history and restoration of this Emulator II on Mystery Circuit's website here.
Update: I asked Mystery Circuits what the serial number was and he said it's hand written and faded, but appears to be SN 983.

"Oberheim Matrix-12 (Made in Japan)... repaired and restored.
The Matrix-12 is perfectly stable when turned on since the electronic part of the repair job is complete ( approx. 6 weeks ), the PSU DC output voltages are as good as they can get ( +5.12v for +5v/-5.02v for -5v/ 11.9v for 12v/-11.9 for -12v/ +49.83 for +50v)
110/220v switch at the input ( currently set at 220v ofc ;) )
MIDI tested under Ableton Live, Xplorer and as a master keyboard.
Input for functional expression pedal tested.
Aftertouch is working great, and the 12 individual outputs work as they should
OS version: CPU: 1.1
Voices: 1.4
Work done on it:
PSU Board:
-The connectors solders have all been reflowed
-Replacement of electrolytic capacitors on the power supply (16) (Nichicon 105 ° C)
-Replacement of resistors (1w and more)
-Replacement of components To-220 (regulators + 12 / -12 and -5, transistors, diodes) new mica insulators
Voiceboards:
-Replacement of 4 defective CEM3374
-Replacement of electrolytic capacitors (144): Nichicon 105 ° C

"It comes with the increasingly difficult to find PG-200 programmer (Complete with the original documentation and case) which is essential for editing patches. It even comes with the original Roland music stand. Cosmetically a 9/10 - Light normal wear, a few scuffs on some of the upper keys. Functionally a 9.5/10 - Fully functional. Volume pot needs cleaning. Occasionally you get a little garble, but a slight shift of the volume knob seems to fix it immediately."
