Published on Sep 13, 2019 sonicstate

"We caught up with Circuit Happy again this year to see what updates they had made to the Missing Link... Misssing Link is a USB and MIDI clock generator with Ableton Link integration.

The idea here is that you can cut down on cable clutter making it much easier to jam with your friends who have different types of devices."

"The DW-8P is a controller that can be used with the Korg DW-8000 (as I show in this video), the DW-6000 and/or the EX-8000. The controller can control TWO synths at the same time.
In addition to controlling every parameter of the synth, the DW-8P has some extra features as a ramp generator, patch generator and advanced CC and sysex capabilities. New features can be added by updating the firmware.

Roland SH 7 Korg SQ1 Reon Driftbox R

Published on Sep 12, 2019 UFO LFO

"An attempt to get the Roland SH and the Reon working together fiddling with the SQ 1 settings. Trying to get my head around analog sequencing. The Korg will sequince the SH 7 the Mono station will not so far. I have not looked into mess with the settings. I suspect my analog 4 can handle the SH 7 it's the gate that seems to be above 5 volt positive."

Gecho v2 and Pocket Operator PO-20 Arcade

Published on Sep 12, 2019 Gecho Loopsynth

"Apologies for the video quality, cellphone camera is easily confused by bright LED lights.

The sound, on the other hand, is presented in its raw form; it was recorded digitally to micro-SD card (note the only cables plugged in are headphones and line input from PO), and was not normalized or edited except for fade in/out and lowering the volume a bit when the dog barked :)

Gecho can detect sync signal from PO while idle and set the global tempo parameter by it, but this is not implemented during play."
