MOOG MINIMOOG + UNO DRUM // Studio Electronics MidiMoog // PURE ANALOG

Published on Oct 28, 2019 LESINDES

"This is another episode of PURE ANALOG here with VINTAGE synth Studio Electronics MidiMoog which is a 100% original MOOG MINIMOOG in a 19" housing without keyboard (no clone!) -- PURE ANALOG is a project to find out and show the qualities of analog synthesizers and eventually also hybrids. And exciting Question is also how contemporary synths like this lush GRP A-2 or EREBUS NYX compare to vintage legends like MINIMOOG or ARP ODYSSEY or ROLAND JUPITER 4 etc. So this piece will be played and performed with different synths in the future track by track recorded in DAW without any equing or otherwise processed in DAW, no add modulation, reverb, saturatio or other FX. Only a mastering compressor, EQ and Limiter is used on the sum. So what you hear is completely un-FX-ed material -- almost impossible to find these days!!!"

Analog OS Upgrades: Multiple Quick Performance Control

"Assign multiple performance macros to the lone, all-conquering Quick Performance control on the #AnalogFour and #AnalogKeys. One knob to rule them all."

ARP ODYSSEY:Tutorial and Demo

"Untangling the haphazard looking from panel of the Arp Odyssey.

This should help anyone who's new to the Odyssey or is having trouble getting to grips with its interface."

Like a long string of mixer faders across the center. Pretty logical approach when you think about it.

Syn'X 2.5: Using the Easy Mode

Published on Oct 28, 2019 xilslab

"In this tutorial, we will see how to use the Easy mode of the Syn'X 2.5, a powerful 8 layers synthesizer.
This mode, reproducing the old synthex feature, is a simple 2 layers synthesizer. Lower and Upper are named according to the part of the keyboard they are assigned when SPLIT is engaged. Among the 8 layer of the Syn'X, Lower is playing layer A and Upper Layer H
At the end of the tutorial we will see how this mode is linked to the Advanced LAYER mode of the Syn'X 2.5"

Dialing the Apocalypse

Published on Oct 27, 2019 juanito moore

"Hardware Jams weekend challenge! This weekend's challenge was to take inspiration from a photo of a burned out sound booth in a burned out amphitheater. So minor modality, filtered noise, distorted bassline, plenty of reverb and delay, that's what I'm going with!"

1010 Music Blackbox - Cloudburst Flight | Demonstration

Published on Oct 27, 2019 Under the Big Tree

"I wanted to see what the 1010 Music Blackbox standalone sampler/sequencer/performance platform could do, so I loaded up some samples of vintage synths, plugged in a McMillen QuNexus USB micro-keyboard, and did an arrangement of one of my favorite Tangerine Dream songs, 'Cloudburst Flight' from the 1979 album Force Majeure.

This is a very capable piece of hardware. Great fun to work with when you are traveling - I did this arrangement on a plane on the way from Los Angeles to Chicago for Knobcon '19."

Manis Iteritas X2 | Noise Engineering // XAOC Zadar // E440 Filter // Basimilus Iteritas Alter

Published on Oct 27, 2019 Nostalgic Ruckus

"First moments with 2 Manis Iteritas in the same skiff.
Zadar envelope B is modulating the first Manis saw while envelope C from Zadar is plugged into the 2nd Manis pitch. The triggers are two separate divided clocks by Moffenzeef Mitto. One for kick and one for the bassline. The first Manis is the one plugged into the E440 filter. Basimilus Iteritas Alter is the kick."

First post to feature the Mitto.
