"Our 200th Episode! A new experimental music piece featuring scenes from Humboldt Bay, the Samoa Peninsula, and the town of Eureka. Many scenes feature the distinctive dolosse along the north and south jetty of the inlet to the bay.

Today the gorgeous sounds of the Behringer VC340 Vocoder
Strings and Choir paired with my 101-VCO on arpeggio.
101-VCO going to my 101-VCF for that classic SH-101 sound.
Future Retro Transient is going to the vocoder mic input.
Transient is modulated by Batumi to result in those
shifting vocoder effects - almost chanting/talking?
Arturia Drumbrute Impact is clocked to the Beatstep Pro.
Some Big Sky reverb and Timefactor Delay.

Recorded direct to Tascam DR-05.

"PAiA Electronics P9700S Analog Modular Synthesizer, also known more simply as the PAiA 9700. This is a Frac-Rack modular format, very similar to Eurorack, and occupies 3 rack spaces in a standard 19" rack. It is MIDI controlled and has a lot of power packed into such a compact unit!!

There are 4 separate modules: 1. MIDI to CV, 2. VCO, 3. VCF and 4. VCA. There are many additional features included in each of these modules that make them very functional and flexible. Altogether, there is an equivalent of 15 separate modules combined within this synth, which include 2 voltage controlled oscillators, one of which can be switched to an LFO, 2 voltage controlled filters, 2 voltage controlled amplifiers, a balanced modulator, a mixer, a noise source, 2 A-R envelope generators, 1 ADSR envelope generator, MIDI to CV converter, glide processor, CV scale/offset processor and an external class II power supply."

This Monophonic/4voices synthesizer is one of the most versatile small synthesizer in the market, it has an excellent effect section and it has a lot of modulation possibilities.
This one has been serviced :
- All the potentiometers have been individually cleaned.
- the VCO section has been check and calibrated.
- The Tubbutec MOD has been installed.

The wood sides have some signs of wear but does not reflect the working condition of the synthesizer which is excellent !"
