circuitbenders.co.uk drumBs x3 demo
Published on Apr 14, 2020 circuitbenders.co.uk
"Demo for the soon to be available circuitbenders.co.uk drumBs module.
Based on a tweaked E&MM syntom II percussion synth circuit, the drumBs PCB can be built as a standalone percussion box or as a Eurorack module.
Its driven by standard analogue trigger pulses and has controls for:
Decay
Bend (Oscillator frequency & noise filter cutoff)
Pitch (Oscillator)
Cutoff (noise filter)
Resonance (noise filter)
Mix (between oscillator and noise)
Pulse (the attack pulse on the front of the sound)
Roll (the speed of the drum roll function triggered by a gate signal on a eurorack build, or a switch on a standalone build)
On this video the red module is doing the hats, the black one provides the bass drum and 80's electronic drumkit tones, and the green one is producing the clap/snare noise sounds."

Concert of Containment, Sunday 12 April 2020, 16h
Published on Apr 13, 2020 RADIOKLOW
"This concert was given in a virtual room for an audience of Friends and Intimates, during the present containment against the covid 19 pandemic.
I wanted to gather some close Friends and Intimates for a moment of music performed on my favorite synthesiser and tibetan bowls, to share warmth and fraternity. Beyond this small group of persons, these improvisations are offered to everyone in this world, with the hope to bring all women and men peace and serenity. They are a travel to light.
A the beginning of them, I chant a mantra for healing : "Om Shree Dhanvantree Nahma".
With all my love and compassion for everyone
I dedicate this concert to my dear cousin Jean-Luc who has suffered from the bad virus and went to hospital but has now fully recovered. I will soon come back home and share again life with his wife !"

PAIA 4700 Modular Synth

"Vintage PAiA 4700 modular synth. As far as I can tell, these were DIY modular synths first released in 1981. These are somewhat quirky machines, and can produce some really interesting and creative sounds. Note that these use the hz/v CV standard (notably used on the Korg MS-20) rather than the modern v/octave standard. The two-part telex case conveniently closes up for easy transportation.
This unit comes with the following modules:
4710 - Balanced Modulator (x2)
4711 - 4/2 Mixer (x1)
4712 - Spring Reverb (x1)
4720 - VCO (x3)
4730 - VCF (x1)
4740 - Envelope Generator (x2)
4761 - Wing (x1)
4770 - Watt Block (x3)
4780 - Sequencer (x1)
Control Oscillator/LFO (x1)
