Mystic Circuits ANA Processing Gates and Triggers
Published on May 14, 2020 Mystic Circuits
"We at Mystic Circuits have been hard at work improving the overall quality and style of our videos. Im an engineer, not a Youtuber, so it has been quite a process. Hopefully the work is worth it and the new demos will be more enjoyable and easier to follow.
This demo is on using ANA to process gates and triggers for manipulating rhythms either with the twist of a knob or with voltage control. Unlike most logic processors ANA computes analog logic so variable and negative voltages can also be processed. This adds a ton of flexibility even when processing static unipolar signals like gates and triggers. Many complex logic functions are possible with some creative patching.
For more info on ANA and how it works check out our first ANA demo:" [posted here]

MOOG SUBHARMONICON - Inside and out, Playing It and Tearing It Down Published on May 12, 2020
"Playing the #Moog #subharmonicon, seeing whats inside and then plugging it into the roland CR78 i talked about in my last video! and an upcoming Kosmo module the Triple Splashback, a video on that will be coming in a few days! Moog sent this to me, and its quite an honor to get something sent to play on im very chuffed, i am picky about what i do these kind of videos on but needless to say i was quite curious about the subharmonicon, like i said in the video! i was expecting the one from moogfest 2018 but with a black panel, but you should have seen my face when it arrived, it was a mixture of confusion and more intrigue haha."
SynthFest Intro 2020 Videos
As you might have noticed I've been posting manufacturer videos for SynthFest 2020 as it gives you both a chance to see the makers in person as well as some of their gear. Along with the maker videos there have been artist videos as well. I thought I should share them to pay tribute to the event during the global lockdown. The above is a running playlist of what's gone up so far. As new maker posts go up I'll link back to this post for the full list of videos. It's great to see some of the people and personalities that would have attended the event. Enjoy. :)
