Each voice has three oscillators with continuously variable wave-shapes, multiple flavors of FM, and oscillator sync. 16 filter types, any two of which can be used simultaneously in series, parallel, or stereo configurations. Import external signals through balanced 24-bit analog inputs and run through the ION's filters, effects, and 40-band vocoder."

"Polybrute landed today. Woohoo! I spent a bit of time acclimating myself with the interface and doing some technical tests for voice modeling, then programmed a first patch inspired by Vangelis Blade Runner theme.

This synth is going to be amazing for replicating classic CS and MemoryMoog type of sounds, and with all the modulation capabilities, it will explore many new worlds. Definitely looking forward to spending time on this spaceship."

"I finally got an opportunity to take a deep dive into sound design on the Memorymoog (after complete restoration and upgrades performed by Rosen Sound). I tweaked most of the factory sounds and added expression pedal programming to each. In the following examples, a factory sound is identified by the bracketed number and the name of the factory sound. I also created original sounds that are identified by name only (no bracketed numbers). I used the additional stereo outputs recently installed, so listening through stereo headphones is recommended. The panning positions of the voices cycle, similar to the OB-8, except when the cyclic memory mode is selected, where upon the same key repeatedly played, holds the same pan position. To avoid going over an hour in length, I eliminated multiple factory and original sounds from this demo. The more interesting and complicated original sounds are showcased."

This is a quick first test of the new Intellijel Metropolix Sequencer paired up with my Erica Synths Syntrx Synthesizer (makes for a perfect pairing!) The big new thing with the Metropolix over their previous Metropolis sequencer is the new "Accumulator" feature, which allows you to have different notes in a scale play, not only per step, but per Pulse count on each and every step, or per Ratchet on every step! It's groundbreaking! And makes for a very musical sequencer in only 8 steps..."
