Soma Synths Jam: Lyra-8, Pulsar 23, Enner, and Ornament-8
video upload by Matt Lowery
"A low key jam performed on my collection of Soma equipment. Lyra-8 is sequenced by Ornament-8, and is on drone duty. Pulsar 23's filters are pinging away, and sent into its stereo delay. For the most part, I am performing on Enner using its built in oscillators, piezo, and auxiliary input."
Sequential Artist Spotlight Interview with VICTOR ATANASOV
You can find the interview on Sequential's website here.
"Behind the music of Frenzy Jones and Dope Buzz is Victor Atanasov. Victor has been involved with the electronic music scene for more than a decade and has worked with the likes of the featured female vocalist on Prodigy’s hit single Smack My Bitch Up, as well as with Prodigy’s engineer. Victor’s music has been played numerous times on the biggest radios such as BBC Radio 1, Kiss 100 among others with great feedback from some respectable names in the music scene and business. In the recent years Victor has experimented with new sounds and genres with synthesizers and drum machines. We chatted with Victor on how he uses Sequential instruments in his music."

Sequential Pro 3 First Bank - Part 1 - Original Sounds Only
Sequential Pro 3 First Bank - Part 2 - Original Sounds Only
video uploads by Hollo Digi Design
"Ahead of buying the Sequential Pro 3 synthesizer, I did what we all do – I went online and found every clip I could on the machine. Very quickly I realized that the Pro 3 will sound different depending on the person designing sounds for it, so to add to the pile of varied content already out there, I thought I’d share recordings from my first bank of original sounds. This video is Part 1 (softer sounds - for the most part - in this video).
Detail:
All patches you hear were created within the first month of owning the Pro 3.
No external effects were used (although some sounds do have some slight compression via the very transparent FMR RNC 1773).
Sounds were recorded in one sitting direct into a Zoom H6.
No post processing or mastering was used (apologies on level changes etc.).
Some things I’ve learned about the Sequential Pro 3 synth that I wish I had known:
The Pro 3 has some of the hottest gain staging of any synth I’ve owned/used. If I compare synths like the Moog Sub Phatty, I find myself needing to be quite careful not to create overly aggressive sounds (this could be a plus too though). If you don't like subtle tweaking then this might be an issue.
Once you use a mod matrix that allows you to simply hold a button, tweak a knob to get a source, then do the same for the destination, you’ll want it on every synth you own. The Pro 3 has spoiled me here for sure."

The Lost TARDIS Artifact | 80s Doctor Who Fan Music
video upload by Mamotreco
"Enjoy some ominous incidental synth music that wouldn't be out of place in a Doctor Who serial from back in the day - aka some latter day synth BBC Radiophonic Workshop vibes. I tried to accompany it with appropriate visuals that wouldn't be too out of place, sort of establishing shots amping up the tension. You'd think a Sontaran is going to pop into frame in the middle of an English garden any minute now.

Function Junction Demo and Tutorial
video upload by Patchwerks
"In this video Nick from Patchwerks shares a comprehensive overview of the Function Junction by Cre8audio. Follow along as Nick explains different patching techniques.
Learn more about the Function Junction here: https://bit.ly/FunJun
Function Junction combines three classic analog modulation sources, ADSR envelope, function generator, and LFO. All are fed into an attenuverting mixer to create a complex modulation junction that can be used as 4 independent sections or in conjunction with each other.
The magic of the module is the ease you can flow from using its functions for basic everyday tasks to creating hyper-complex modulation.
Function Junction came about from a collaboration of the people at Cre8audio and Pittsburgh Modular Synthesizers.

Cherry Audio Introduces Minimode - 16 Voice Virtual Minimoog Model D
video upload by Cherry Audio
"Cherry Audio is kicking off its 'Bob Moog Appreciation Month' with the release of Minimode, our homage to Dr. Robert A. Moog and the best-known and loved analog synthesizer ever made. As part of our month-long celebration, Cherry Audio will be donating a portion of profits from Minimode to the Bob Moog Foundation.
MINIMODE is our painstaking virtual emulation of the granddaddy of all portable synthesizers, the Model D. When we set out to create Minimode, we focused on a single principle: absolute authenticity. We studied and measured every nuance, every curve, and every response of the audio. The interface is a meticulous recreation of the original, from the maple cabinet and textured surface to the unmistakable knobs and switches.
The resulting monophonic tones are so mighty that we could not resist adding one particular enhancement: we've made it easy to dial in two, four, eight, or sixteen polyphonic voices guaranteed to bring the house down. Minimode also includes a library of over 250 presets, and we've added a new feature to Minimode: the ability to save custom MIDI controller mappings to individual presets or globally, or both.
It's been said, "Everyone should have one," and we couldn't agree more. That's why Cherry Audio is bringing Minimode to the desktop for the inconceivably low price of only $39!
The Minimode synthesizer is now available at cherryaudio.com and authorized resellers worldwide for Windows and macOS, in AU, VST, VST3, AAX, and standalone formats. Visit https://bit.ly/minimode for additional product details, a free demo, system requirements, and a collection of thunderous sound examples."
