"Casio showed us their CTS-1 keyboard with limited edition artwork Flowers and Hearts Edition by Brazillian artist Romero Britto. It will be in a small run and offers something a little different from your average CTS-1. Price is yet to be announced, but it might be your thing..

"Jim (aka Earmonkey music) takes a sounds only look at the The Aodyo Anyma Phi.

This is a specialized Physical modeling synth - it has oscillators and filters, just like other synths, but they are paired with physical modeling technology, allowing it to simulate acoustic sound sources, like strings , as well as resonating structures, like wood, glass, or metal. The front panel includes a matrix providing access to of the five stages of sound generation: Excite, Vibrate, Resonate, Global, and Animate.

"Lets check out some of the big features in coming in M8 2.7 firmware.

I've been testing beta for a bit and it's stable enough to show now.

2.7.0 will bring a lot of improvement and fixes but the three big things are Snapshot mode, load and save snapshots of the song state instantly from the mixer screen.

Because the M8 disk streams and Trash80 wizardry it can pretty much instantly save the song to to a temp file and recall it without interrupting playback.

This is similar to a feature on Elektron devices in which they snapshot the pattern into Ram.

The other big feature is the often requested ability to Mute and Solo tracks by sending a midi note. In the case of the omx-27 keyboard Mutes start at C-0

Also a new FM oscillator shape, the M8 FM synth doesn't just do Sines, and not it has a CLICK to help with making FM percussion.

"Experimental music video featuring scenes from the film Charade starring Audrey Hepburn.

Charade was a 1963 "romantic comedy mystery film" produced and directed by Stanley Donen; it also starred Cary Grant in addition to Hepburn. Because of an error by Universal Pictures it immediately entered the public domain in the United States, and can be found on the Internet Archive and elsewhere.

The visuals are processed using the 3TrinsRGB+1c video synthesizer with the E350 Morphing Terrarium by Synthesis Technology as a CV controller. The original synthesizer music was inspired by Henry Mancini's original soundtrack for the film, and features the following instruments:
