Instead of using an expression pedal into the effects pedal the user can use this module in between a CV source and the Effects pedal to be controlled.
This is a great way to control the available parame- ters on the effects pedals straight from a CV source.

ADDAC309 features 2 channels each with a CV Input with attenuator and a 1/4’ jack output.

This is a passive module, the power needed for operation is taken from the pedal power instead of the modular frame, this allows for perfect matching of the pedal’s operating voltage which can range from 3.3v to 9v."

"In this Video I’ll show you how I made the 'Machine Gun Sound' in MJ’s 'Beat It'. It’s kind of a hidden sound, but it serves an important purpose in the orchestration of the song to create tension and energy just before Eddie Van Halen’s iconic guitar solo. This is one of many examples of the nuances that can be found in the arrangements of the songs on the album.

We’ll also shine the spotlight on Thriller engineer Bruce Swedien’s ability to know when and how to use a sound like this and when to get it out of the picture to create space for other sounds. This concepts can be applied to any style of music you are creating.

I made the original sound using an ARP 2600 & Dr. Click but you can re-create this sound on your VST with less effort.

Definitely looking to be in the honeymoon period with this synth for a long time, I like to try all sorts when first programming on a new machine, from complex to relatively simple but lush sounds.

I am a firm believer that in the right context, less is more, select the best tone and filtering, add some nice dynamics, subtle mods and you can play for hours. I guess the piano, rhodes, acoustic guitar and so many instruments are just exactly that.

This to me has turned out to be one of those patches. no fancy frills, just warm , lush and very enjoyable to jam away with.
