SOUNDMIT RETURNS TO TURIN FROM JULY 4 TO 6, 2025: THE 14TH EDITION FOCUSED ON INNOVATION AND PASSION FOR MUSIC After a one-year break, Soundmit – the international event dedicated to synthesizers, modular synth, professional audio technologies, and vintage instruments – returns for its 14th edition. From July 4 to 6, 2025, the Sporting Dora in Torino will host an unmissable three-day event with exhibitions, live electronic music performances, and opportunities for industry professionals and enthusiasts to meet.

A RENEWED EVENT, A STRATEGIC NEW DATE

"After over a decade of success, Soundmit took a pause in 2024," says organizer Francesco Mulassano. "This break allowed us to work on an even richer and more engaging format. The new timing in July is not coincidental: the proximity to the Kappa FuturFestival, one of Europe's most renowned electronic music events, creates an ideal context for Soundmit. The presence of an already targeted audience increases visibility and visitor attendance, while still maintaining our autonomy as an independent and unique event."

"A composition using the ‪@MoogSynthesizers‬ Moog One, ‪@SequentialLLC‬ Prophet-10, and a modular synthesizer. While the Moog One and Prophet-10 are played manually, the modular synth produces drone sounds with Plaits and clicking sounds with the STO.

The clicking sounds are randomized using the ‪@4msCompany‬ Quad Clock Distributor and Monome White Whale."

PERfourMER MKII - Sync Session #2: Total Sync

"On most synthesizers with hard sync, all oscillators receive the same information via MIDI or, if available, from the internal keyboard.

The structure of the *PERfourMER MKII*, however, allows the oscillators to be hard-synced while each can play an individual sequence.

In this video, we send three different MIDI sequences to the PERfourMER MKII and play with different sync combinations. We added a little reverberation to each synthesizer channel and combined it with some rhythm, played with the *DRM1 MKIV*."

The SILHOUETTE SPORT is an innovative audiovisual synthesizer that transforms visuals and motion to sound and rhythm. The interdisciplinary approach liberates the inherent connection between various senses and actions like seeing, moving and listening. To play along these intersections wakes basic intuitions and leads to a widespread field of cross-sensual beauty, poetry and joy.

The SPORT has a camera on board, and it is portable: Ready to search and find visuals in the outside world to play with - dance like. It can also load picture and movie files. The special 'Vimpler' ('visual sampler') function closes the audiovisual circuit: Incoming audio gets transformed to a picture, ready for artistic sound resynthesis.

The SILHOUETTE SPORT is invented and build by German musician and artist Pit Przygodda, and it is the new smaller-in-size-and-prize sprout in the SILHOUETTE synthesizer family and joins the bigger SILHOUETTE EINS (2021).
