The Dual - Stylophone CPM DS-2 + 2xSQ1 jam - Song-a-day 2025
video upload by ChrisLody
"I've been wanting to upload something with the Stylophone CPM DS-2 for ages. It's a very fine bit of gear, mostly designed to make slowly evolving drone sounds. But luckily it's also equip with Eurorack compatible inputs meaning the drone oscillators can play tuneful stuff too. It also has an LFO with a reset function meaning it can be used for basic envelope duties.
I ended with 2 Korg SQ-1's after I bought my Ms20 Mini last year as John (Acrelid) offered it to me at a price I couldn't resist. So here they're clocked together so I can have 2 pitches going to the two different oscillators. There's only one LFO reset so the top SQ1 is used for gates, but the bottom one is set to a different length of steps which makes for some interesting stuff.
The Bastl Bestie and Volcas are doing bog standard stuff. All audio is passing through the reverb in the CPM DS-2"

Classic Analog Roland Synth Soudnds on Your Hydrasynth for $10!
video upload by Scott's Synth Stuff
"I try out some of the excellent recreations of classic Roland patches for the Hydrasynth - make your Hydrasynth sound like a Juno-106 or a JX-3P! I also talk about the noisy Roland chorus, and how to get rid of that noise in the Roland ACB emulations.

Heritage Modular - Making of front panels - step#1
video upload by f1oat3d
"The automagic process for the generation of the Heritage Modular V2 front panels.
As I am moving from 3D printing to aluminium, my old OpenScad scripts have been converted to Python. The new script is able to generate SVG for laser engraving, and STEP for 3D modeling and CNC milling, and STL pour mockup 3D printing.
Soundtrack 'A World of Heritage' by @KurtzMindfields played on Heritage Modular V1.

Ambient w/ Monome Grid 128 & grainfields Max for Live | A Voice beyond Time 2025-02-02 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"A piece created using the Monome Grid 128 and @Ableton Max for Live. Audio and synth sounds, stretched by a granular synthesizer, are layered together.
The samples include water sounds, synthesizer tones, vocals, and data noise. Using grainfields, the sounds are repeated and stretched to generate a unique character.
On the Monome, I adjust the sample playback and modify the playback positions.

Cracklebox (Kraakdoos) : With Analog Resonator, Granular & Delay : Vaemi (Standalone Synthesizer)
video upload by Vaemi
"Cracklebox (Kraakdoos) : With Analog Resonator, Granular & Delay : Vaemi (Standalone Synthesizer)
Kraakdoos (Cracklebox)
The Kraakdoos, also known as the Cracklebox, is an experimental electronic musical instrument first developed by Michel Waisvisz in the 1970s. This device makes interacting with electronic circuits fun and unconventional, and is played through its touch-sensitive surfaces. When you complete the circuit with your fingertips, it starts producing sound, with the tone, intensity, and rhythm changing according to your touch.
This modern version designed by Vaemi presents the classic Cracklebox concept with an innovative approach. The Kraakdoos serves as a creative tool in sound design, appealing to both musicians and those interested in experimental sounds.
The Kraakdoos, aka Cracklebox, uses the classic LM709 op-amp, which is now only available from a limited number of manufacturers. This component plays a crucial role in shaping the device’s characteristic tone and unique sound palette, providing a truly one-of-a-kind audio experience.
Features
Transformer-Isolated Line Output: The line-out connection is equipped with transformer isolation, ensuring signal isolation for cleaner sound transmission and professional-grade noise reduction.
Speaker and External Output Options: Option for external speaker use or external line output.
Touch Controls: The device responds dynamically to user touch, generating unique sounds.
Revived with Vaemi's design, the Kraakdoos offers an unforgettable experience in the world of analog electronics. With its transformer-isolated line output and the ability to run on a 9V battery, this device is an ideal choice for both studio and outdoor performances."
