video upload by 2-Minute Warning

"Let's go for a 5-Minute Warning video, with some real-time guitar-like sound solo playing! 😊

0:00 - Scene 1: Intro starts with the STRINGS (JD-08), ARP (SE-02) and DRUMS (TR-6S)

0:46 - Scene 2: DRUMS knob reload for big sound + BASS (DB-01)

1:17 - Scene 3: SOLO 1 improvised (JD-08)

2:02 - Scene 4: Bridge

3:04 - Scene 5: SOLO 2 improvised (JD-08)

3:50 - Scene 6: Outro

Some tips used here:

TR6S (DRUMS): I used the 'KIT KNOB RELOAD' feature to get back to the big drum sounds as it was saved in the kit (I previously moved the knobs to pitch up/down and reduce the decay of all the sounds for the intro)

TR6S (DRUMS): the VINYL SIM effect is used on the TR6S' master bus to heavily compress the DRUMS

TR6S (DRUMS): I used the internal LFO to modulate a few parameters on the DRUM tracks to add some subtle variations

KEYSTEP PRO (Sequencer): I used the Chain feature to chain 2 patterns in order to have an 8-bar pattern for the ARP sequences

KEYSTEP PRO (Sequencer): I used the Scene feature to load different patterns and mutes in one time (to switch to the bridge for example)"

"STAGE 5 BGM" from the FC action game "Konomi's Monster Party" arranged by YAMAHA TX816

FC用アクションゲーム「このみのモンスターパーティ」より"STAGE 5 BGM" YAMAHA TX816 Arrange♪

video upload by NOZ MUSIC

Google translated (original Japanese below):

"My name is NOZ, and I was in charge of all the background music and sound effects for the FC action game "Konomi's Monster Party," released by GAME IMPACT on April 28, 2024.
This time, I arranged the game's STAGE 5 background music using an FM synthesizer.

The FM synthesizer is a YAMAHA TX816.
The TX816 is sequenced using a YAMAHA QX1.
The drums are a YAMAHA RX11.

I filmed myself playing on the actual machine before recording.
When I press the START button on the YAMAHA QX1, the YAMAHA TX816 and YAMAHA RX11 play in sync.
This music equipment, which was released in 1984, is still in use today.
The recorded sound source will be included in "Konomi's Monster Party ORIGINAL SOUNDTRAK," due for release in March 2026."

Take 5 OS Update = Melodic House Bliss

video upload by Jason DeRoche Music

"In this video I explore some of the new features in the recently released Take 5 OS update and how well they apply to dance music. These are pure melodic house bliss! But they apply to other genres as well. As you will see it is easy to create beautiful bass and melodic lines using the new arpeggio features, and the new whiplash rhythm mode will blow you away.

"Extremely rare, extremely heavy, and not fully functional: here is the fabled Synamp from Moog, interestingly a native UK voltage example. The power amp is not working, and the spring tank needs to be replaced. But this is what it does have working well even before servicing: a vintage Moog graphic with drive level control and overload LED, and four channels of comprehensive Moog parametric EQ, each with input gain with overload LED and effects send level, and three sweepable bands for each channel. Cosmetically, check the photos. The important parts are a good 7/10, but some of the rest is not. It's not pristine for sure. But it is a very special piece. CORRECTION: the tatty but original Moog wooden road case goes with the second Synamp in this auction, not this one. That means that there is no reverb tank at all with this one (the tank sits in one of the wooden case lids) - but a pretty simple job to house and connect a replacement. This example is still seriously heavy and solid without the wooden case.

There will be a second Synamp in this auction in non-working condition, and possibly the massive speaker cabinets (as seen) that they were designed to work with - though their huge power could only really be used in a decent sized space. See lots 30464 and 30465."

"Extremely rare (as you can guess by the serial number 600003), and crucial to the working of the ground-breaking MC-8 sequencer. In very good physical condition, just a couple of minor marks. Untested, as no MC8 was available to attach it to. VEMIA can collect and pack: 9GBP.'

"From Salamander Music Systems - sorry for the typo in the title. Probably even rarer than the Voice 400, this is the companion sequencer / controller for it, in rackmount form. Not tested, sold as is, needing the multi-pin connector - which presumably acts as power supply for the 430R as well as sending sequence / program info. Like the Voice 400, not in very good cosmetic condition, but still highly desirable."
