First Stage Fright
video upload by davidryle
"Rossum Electro-Music works its' way into the 5U system. The results are pretty nice.
Using a Trident Oscillator with quantized pitch CV from a Mob Of Emus into three envelopes from Synthetic Sound Labs Octal VCA Expander, then on to the Rossum Panharmonium Mutating Spectral Resynthesizer.
A tap off the Trident is sent to the Rossum Linnaeus filter for a percussive FM part which starts the work. The timing is from the Moon Modular 563 Trigger Sequencer.
The rhythm section is the Synthetic Sound Labs / Hagiwo Geo Gruvn euclidean sequencer for all the parts.
The bass part is the SSL Woven Spirits (MI Plaits) in wavetable mode.
The dual Q960 sequencers are transposing the 1V/Oct input to the Panharmonium and sending various control voltages to the bass and another pad swell sounds from the 5U system.
All recordings are in real time to Cubase 12 and video is edited in Final Cut Pro."

Solar Sound Card - ear modular
video upload by Sonic Seed
"A light-sensitive, portable sound generator that extends Ear Modular beyond Eurorack.
Its circuitry responds to ambient light, transforming sunlight, shadows, or small light sources into dynamic sonic textures.
Built for direct interaction with the environment, it invites musicians to listen with their eyes and see with their ears, shaping sound through the shifting presence of light.
Equipped with an integrated speaker and powered by a coin-cell battery, it functions as a self-contained instrument—intimate, mobile, and alive to its surroundings.
Solar Sound Card is a series of light-sensitive sound cards.
Each card reacts to variations in light, transforming brightness and shadow into shifting sound.
Every card includes a built-in speaker, and can also be connected to external speakers via an audio jack.
The audio output provides SP+ (tip) and SP– (ring) signals.
At present, there are seven types of Solar Sound Cards — each with its own character, circuitry, and way of playing.

Orangey-Brown Accumulation (Buchla 100)
video upload by Memetune Studio
"This is a live performance on an original Buchla 100 from the late 1960s, using the Concrete Box™ , and TX-6 mixer
The patch uses 3 loopers and 2 delays, plus a very old Dynacord VRS23 reverb (which is adding some slightly woozy pitch-bendy-ness to the reverb)
The Buchla has a really basic patch - just one Sine-Saw VCO into the Sharp Cutoff Filter (Lowpass section). There's some cutoff mod from the keyboard capacitance voltage (which is why I'm wiggling my fingers in a rather silly-looking way)
The vintage Buchla 100 sounds so natural, rich and organic, I love it - almost like an acoustic instrument - a brassy, beautiful tone from the saw waves
Also, there's a second VCO (square) going into the HPF section of the Sharp Cutoff Filter (which is independent from the lowpass section in this mode) for the low drones
It builds up a bit like the many fallen leaves which have accumulated upon the now wintery lawn I am gazing upon"

Tsunami v0.1 Voltage-Controlled Wave Folder test.
video upload by flightofharmony
"17 minutes of noodling with the almost-ready Tsunami.
two-stage wavefolder, with low and high breakpoints of each stage variable by potentiometers and collectively by a control voltage. Also with voltage-selectable inversion (invert/not invert)of input mix and voltage-selectable (limit/no limit) output limiting.
No editing, just raw upload."
