8 Banks of Instantly Switchable Sounds
The card stores up to 8 PCM banks in non-volatile memory, each selectable via the front-mounted DIP switch panel for fast hands-on switching during sessions or performance.
Each bank provides up to 8 sound slots with roughly 1.5 seconds of shared sample time, ideal for drum hits, percussive textures, stabs, and short FX.

Seamless Integration with Korg DDD-1/DDD-5 OS
All sound names are properly recognized and displayed on the DDD-1/5 screen, making this user-friendly PCM upgrade available.

USB-C Programmable
Load your own samples using the built-in USB-C interface.
Windows companion scripts are included for fully automated import; macOS and Linux users can run them via Parallels, VirtualBox, Wine, or similar environments.
Supports standard WAV files with no special requirements. Sounds are automatically trimmed, resampled, mono converted to maximize utilization of internal memory.

Visual Feedback While You Work
A perimeter LED indicator provides clear visual activity cues while accessing or programming the card, it adds a vintage gear aesthetics.

Open Source & Fully Hackable
Based on PicoROM open-source project, the Deftaudio PCM Custom Card is highly modifiable for developers and power users who want to customize behavior, storage layouts, or even firmware.

"Low Poly Synth is a generator of melodic atmospheric sounds with billions of unique timbres.

The app is built on modified synthesis algorithms from Fractal Bits, Relic Waves, and Relic Flow, with the addition of pure tone generation code.
The sound space is divided into 4294967296 presets, each corresponding to a set of 8 sample textures. The volume of an individual sample can be adjusted in the top panel or via MIDI. The bottom panel is a classic musical keyboard that sets the note for the sounds in the set. Each note triggers all 8 samples at once - together they form a complex harmonic pattern that almost never repeats over time due to the different lengths of the looped fragments.

Features:
search for new sounds with three buttons: next random set, edit code, previous set; each set of 8 sounds corresponds to a code of 8 characters (you can save/copy/paste it as plain text);
three types of keyboards for live performing: on-screen, PC keyboard, MIDI input; for the on-screen keyboard, you can set the number of displayed octaves and scale;
20+ parameters can be controlled via MIDI or directly through the app interface: Settings / MIDI Mapping;
real-time audio recording to WAV (32-bit);
export to: WAV (one file or a set), SunVox (samples + effects in one file), text clipboard;
the LCK button freezes individual samples - they will not change during the search for new sets;

3 CV inputs to the 3 voice pitches, Voice 1 CV multipled to modulator rate and one gate to the noise gen on voice 3. No cheating and trying to sound like a SID with filter support, and no VCA support so no volume control either. The skill level was set to hardcore - making it sound nice while it's acting as not much more than a 3 voice drone machine 💀😅

Modulator permanently active on voice 1 for gnarly grit pitch tracking and the ringmod near the end.
