Roland Jd08 Psychedelic Techno Set (Multitimbral Performance)

video upload by Dylan Ferno

"I used the key range feature on the Roland Jd08 to independently sequence each Tone. As such, I was able to make drum kit presets and use it as a multitimbral 8 track groovebox to make full songs to perform in a DAWless atmospheric psychedelic acid techno live set. A brief tutorial is included in this demo as well.

Elastic OSC iOS MPE Update & Android Release

video upload by Elastic Instruments (Oliver Greschke)

"Elastic OSC 1.3 adds long-awaited MPE support to iOS.
Unlock expressive control and shape sounds with polyphonic aftertouch and per-note gestures.
Map Glide (X), Slide (Y), and Pressure (Z) to synthesis parameters and control them with external MPE controllers or the built-in keyboard (X and Y). As with any MPE instrument, all gestures work polyphonically, meaning each note can control parameters independently — for example different gains or timbres depending on the pressure applied to each key.

The Android version offers the same features as iOS — just at a much lower price!!

The update comes with more than 100 new presets by @JakobHaq , @redskylullaby , Nerk and others — lots to explore!

The Dreaming AI

video upload by Igor Vasiliev

"This track was created entirely inside BeatCutter, an experimental rhythm-driven audio slicer designed for building evolving textures and abstract sound worlds. The track began as a set of raw audio sources, which were then chopped, rearranged, and transformed through BeatCutter’s multi-channel sample matrix.

Using its flexible routing, generative templates, and the app’s unique feedback mode, the sound gradually shaped itself into a shifting, dream‑like structure - almost as if the audio were thinking and evolving on its own. No fixed presets, no predefined patterns. Just pure experimentation, guided by the app’s ability to turn any sound into cyberpunk atmospheres, glitchy rhythms, and alien ambient landscapes.

If you’re into sound design, IDM, ambient, or experimental music, BeatCutter is a powerful tool for discovering ideas you didn’t even know you were looking for.

This box turns sound into magic: RODEC Ministyler Demo

video upload by mylarmelodies

"Being a demo video I was very gladly hired to make explaining the RODEC & Sherman Ministyler filterbank. This is one of the best pieces of hardware I tried last year and I approached them to make this. Ministyler is like a baby stereo Sherman filterbank (yes, the '96 classic desktop filter) in a 'RODEC One' box with two slots for other 'RODEC One' modules, and is deceptive in depth despite how simple the panel looks. You'll hear it here mostly on drum machine - my favourite use I found - but also on Tenori-on & Nord Lead 2 with CV input used. It's nuts."

Ambient with OP-1 field Micro Looper and norns shield | Iron Brush 2026-03-26 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"A piece created with ‪@teenageengineering‬ OP-1 field and norns shield. It is ambient where the expression changes through micro looper manipulation.

On the OP-1 field, the PHASE synthesizer is performed while looping sound with the micro looper on ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ MOOD MKII.

On the norns shield, sines is launched and played using the Monome Grid. The output runs through ‪@strymon‬ blueSky with reverb applied."

Make Noise Introdues GTE (Gestural Time Extractor) Module

video upload by MAKEN0ISE

Playlist:

1. GTE (Gestural Time Extractor) | Make Noise
2. GTE module overview
3. Channel Index Translation with GTE

Press release follows:

Make Noise is very excited to announce the latest module for the New Universal Synthesizer System, the Gestural Time Extractor (GTE)!

The Gestural Time Extractor (GTE) is an analog pulse extractor and Channel Index Translator for the New Universal Synthesizer System or any Eurorack modular system.

From the motion of the signal at the Span input, GTE derives up to eight individual channel pulses, as well as a GTE pulse stream representing the speed of motion of the input signal, and two gate outputs representing activity at the even and odd channels.

The Space parameter determines the threshold proximity of the channels to each other and thereby also the sensitivity and reactivity of the GTE and other outputs.

When the Clock input is in use, the GTE’s output channel will only change upon reception of a trigger or gate, allowing for changes to easily be synchronized with other existing events in the system.

With all controls set to starter min-max positions, the GTE also operates as a Channel Index Translator for PoliMATHS and other New Universal Synthesizer System modules that generate Channel Index signals, allowing the accurate derivation of individual channel gates from activity at the respective channels of the source module.

The GTE can be used to generate repeatable and controllable rhythm and timing information from any analog synthesizer signal, whether arbitrary or targeted, and is also useful for individual voice timing signal generation within a multi-voice N.U.S.S. system.

Extract rhythms, clocks and pulse streams from any control voltage source
Opens up the patch programmability of the N.U.S.S.
Synchronize GTE to any clock source with the Clock input
Use GTE to synchronize any event in your system with Activations from PoliMATHS and MultiWAVE - regardless of Span mode
Compact and powerful analog module
Pairs well with MATHS, PoliMATHS or Jumbler
