"Univox Mini-Korg Synthesizer 700 For Sale. This Minikorg has been meticulously refurbished by perfectionists and is in perfect working order and ready to play.

This unit has some very useful modifications that expand its capabilities.

Adjustable Resonance
The stock minikorg just has a single switch for resonance boost, but this one's got 2 additional rotary pots added for variable resonance of the high pass and low pass filters - it really lets this minikorg scream! This mod alone is a huge improvement over a standard minikorg.

Filter Input
There's also an audio input allowing one to process external sounds through its filters.

Adjustable Chorus Rate
There's a pot to adjust the rate of chorus 1.

Octave and Waveform Mixing
These mods give you the ability to mix waveforms and octave divisions, resulting in a fatter sound. These mods are a bit strange and interact with the octave and waveform switches, so they take a little getting used to.

These additional octave and waveform pots are active at the very top of their range and are more like switches and are sometimes inactive, depending on your settings. Sometimes octave switch settings will cause a drop in volume if the appropriate knobs are not adjusted, and sometimes there will be a change in timbre of the selected waveforms if the knobs are not adjusted properly. It's a bit confusing at first. We can probably remove these mods for you if you'd like so the octave and waveform switches work as they normally would in a stock unit, but this will remove the ability to mix waveforms and octave divisions - please email us to discuss if you'd like these mods removed (we would just remove the wires connecting the mods, not the additional pots).

These mods give this minikorg more sonic possibilities than a stock unit and add value to this example.

We paid our tech for 5 hours of skilled labor to get this unit working great again. In addition to fixing any problems, he did the following servicing:

Cleaned jacks
Replaced all power supply electrolytic capacitors (he says someone previously replaced the other electrolytic capacitors)
Replaced fuse
Cleaned and lubed all pots
Calibrated VCO"

"Here's a sweet Roland Jupiter 6 legendary analog polysynth.. and in Mono mode, one of the best bass / lead synths ever made... I much preferred it over my Voyager XL, Odyssey and Minimoog D : )

It is in great condition in and out. ALL keys, jacks, sliders, buttons, voices, filters work as they should. This Jupiter was serviced by fully early last year. It was all detailed, calibrated, checked, and it was upgraded with the Tauntek Firmware Update.. check out the specs online.. it really adds so many cool things to the J6. ALSO comes with custom dust cover : )

CHECK OUT the quick video posted on this ad of THIS JUPITER 6!"

ellitone - lil' dream organ - (small batch)

video upload by ellitone instruments

"*small batch - only 7 available -

ellitone.com

The ellitone lil' dream organ is a limited edition battery-powered polyphonic digital synthesizer with built-in amplified speaker.

Featuring 8 wooden Touch Bars, 16 oscillators, 8 selectable musical scales, and a collection of 50 waveforms to explore and blend using the ‘infinite tone’ knob. the lil dream organ is a fun and powerful electronic instrument capable of many tones and textures, simple enough for a youngster or beginner to operate.

Controls:

-‘infinite tone’ knob blends and mixes 2 separate layers of waveforms together. Each layer consists of 8 oscillators and each layer has its own unique selected waveform. As you turn the knob fully clockwise or fully counterclockwise, a new waveform is chosen from a collection of 50 waveforms and applied to one of the 2 layers. This means that you are infinitely blending in-between new combinations of waveforms continuously.

-musical scale select switches. 3 toggle switches at the top of the device are used to select one of the 8 musical note scales. These three switches operate using binary logic. With 3 switches, we have 8 unique combinations of switch positions (on/off/on…off/off/on…etc). Each one of these 8 possibilities selects a different musical scale to explore using the wooden Touch Bar keyboard notes.

GRADIENT NOISE Coming to ICMC 2026

Gradient Noise: Work in Progress with Dirtywave M8 and Processing.org
video upload by John C.S. Keston

https://audiocookbook.org/gradient-noise-at-icmc-2026/

"I'm pleased to announce that I will be performing the world premiere of my piece Gradient Noise at the International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) in Hamburg, Germany on May 11 at 9:30pm. The following video except represent the work in progress. The final piece will be 10 minutes long and contain up to four layers of instruments with independent, corresponding, video objects.

Since 2019 I have been composing animated graphic scores for ensembles and soloists. Examples include Parking Ramp Project, SYNTAX, and Rhodonea. These generative works are projected for both the performers to read and audience to experience. I write software to generate and animate the geometric forms, and establish rules on how the forms are read, whilst allowing improvisation and the emotional response of the performer to play an integral part in each piece.

Gradient Noise, written using the Processing.org language, translates values generated by the Perlin noise algorithm into independent layers of seamless loops repeating at variable intervals. These loops are visualised as geometric forms, abstract visualizations, and evolving structures. The data generated is aleatoric, but the values can be tuned to range between slowly moving gradients or rapid, angular forms. When the sound and visuals are synchronized I respond not only to the animation but also to the changes in the timbre of my instruments.

Through Gradient Noise I am rethinking the relationships between musicians and machines. By translating the properties of n-dimensional Perlin noise into a musical language, the piece presents a unified ecosystem with coordinated timbres and geometric forms. Thus generating a living environment that requires active participation and improvisation. Ultimately, the work presents a contemporary model for computer music where the performer does not simply follow a score, but negotiates a path through a responsive, multi-sensory experience.

Tandberg instrumentation recorder controlling a synthesizer

video upload by A Radiophonic Shed

"This Tandberg Series 115 instrumentation recorder is a scientific logging device from the 1970s.
Voltage changes detected from scientific instruments are recorded as frequency-modulated signals to four separate tracks on ¼" magnetic tape. When the tape is played back for analysis, those same voltages can be examined - replaying the experiment.
Here we have recorded 1V/octave pitch voltages from a keyboard, and now we're replaying those same voltages into a modular synthesizer - all the sound is coming live from the synthesizer, it isn't an audio tape recording.

More details: https://shedsynth.wordpress.com/2026/..."
