GHOST PEDAL by ENDORPHIN.ES x ANDREW HUANG

video upload by Endorphin.es

"We're thrilled to unveil the GHOST PEDAL: a collaborative masterpiece born from our ongoing synergy with Andrew Huang.

AVAILABLE NOW from ENDORPHIN.ES directly and worldwide retailers: [see the dealers on the right]

Tailored for audacious sound designers and electrifying live performers, the GHOST PEDAL embarks on an odyssey of multi-dimensional audio effects.

Prepare to be captivated by its arsenal of effects, including distortion, cabinet simulation, bitcrushing, and a trio of reverbs that span from lush halls with infinite freeze and shimmer to reverberating springs and ethereal reverses. A distinctive delay section takes centre stage, featuring a single delay line that can be harnessed for looping, stereo choruses and resonant textures.

The Ghost Pedal's expansive filter suite offers three distinct types – state-variable LP/HP, Band Pass, and a comb filter that morphs into a resonator with high resonance settings. Immerse yourself in sonic exploration as you modulate effects using the built-in multi-shape LFO or external sources such as the envelope follower, expression pedal or MIDI.

But what truly sets the Ghost Pedal apart is its Routing Matrix, providing six versatile routing options that redefine the sonic journey. With a simple button press, you can reshape the order of effects in the audio processing chain, from cataclysmic subharmonics to celestial shimmer reverbs.

The Ghost Pedal is a haven for creative expression, offering 9 presets that can be seamlessly morphed and recalled on the fly. Sharing and evolving your sound is effortless, as presets can be exchanged between users via SysEx messages opening the doors to endless sonic horizons.

The Ghost Pedal redefines convenience with its compact design, offering also an all-in-one solution for both pedal boards and multi-effect processors.

It boasts a carefully chosen selection of intuitive hands-on controls that eliminate the need for cumbersome menu diving, steep learning curve or connectivity overkill."

HOW TO MAKE: Alessandro Cortini - SCAPPA with Endorphin.es x Andrew Huang - GHOST new V2 firmware

video upload by Endorphin.es

"What if @Alessandro Cortini used Endorphin.es? How would it sound?
Having the GHOST paired with the Furthrrrr Generator for ambience and the Ground Control as a perfect sequencer on hands we could not refuse to replicate some of Alessandro's s masterpieces.
With the new GHOST V2 firmware we now have a shimmer, smoother filter and serial processing: global dry/wet mix, which altogether allows us to even deeper sound design experiments.

GROUND CONTROL Firmware V.2: external CV modulation matrix, scales, modulation output

video upload by Endorphin.es

"This video describes new features added in the v2.00 firmware for the Ground Control like scales or external cv.

Firmware is available and recommended to download for all the users:
https://www.endorphin.es/modules/p/gr...

Release notes v.2.00: 29.12.2021

- CV modulation matrix added: 4 assignable CV inputs to various sequencer parameters: pattern shift, semitone and octaves offset, shuffle, ratchets, slide, gate length, CV to CC values and pattern change. Assign via TEMPO - E/ext. cv
- scales added. Selected via TEMP - N - PATT selects preset scales, TRANSPOSE-/+ selects the root note. Pressing any of the keys adds/removes them from the scale.
- TAP tempo button can be disabled in menu via TEMPO - M - C to not accidentally press it during the performance and change the tempo via: TEMPO - M - C (on/off).
- during the live pattern select shut off the key LEDs because sometimes when they overlap the patterns you can load wrong project

Exploring the Endorphin.es GHOST Pedal

video upload by Waveformer

"The Endorphin.es Ghost Pedal is a multi-effects distortion + filter + delay + reverb pedal with flexible routing and powerful modulation options. This video explores a part of the sonic landscape made possible by this pedal, with text overlays explaining the knob-twisting as I go along.

The Norand Mono plays a simple 8-note sequence, starting with a triangle oscillator, and then moving to richer timbres later on

The MS-70CDR is only provides a simple slow-moving AutoPan Delay, with depth set to maximum, so the delay volume is in effect modulated by a slow-moving LFO, like the echoes are circling around you and disappear when they're at your back.

The Golden Master Pedal is set up with the multiband compressor enabled on the low and mid bands. The Mid/Side-processor widens the stereo image for the upper and mid bands, and puts the lower (bass) band more towards center.

No effects were used on the Bluebox. It is only used for mixing/routing and for recording.

The audio is recorded to SD card on a Bluebox mixer/recorder and normalized in Audacity. Video is recorded on a Canon EOS M50 mk2 with the included EF-M 15-45mm lens. Audio and video is synchronized in DaVinci Resolve 18 (free version).

Thank you to Endorphin.es for sending over the Ghost Pedal and the Golden Master Pedal for me to test out.

Audio connections:
- Norand Mono - MS-70CDR - Ghost - Bluebox
- Bluebox master out - Golden Master - Bluebox channel 6 in"

Endorphin.es Shuttle System Techno Jam

Published on Mar 22, 2018 TheEndorphines

"That's a raw live techno jam by Audio Units using an amalgamation of analog machines in the studio.

Audio Units use Endorphin.es Shuttle System as part of the #LifeIsATrip contest.

The KORG MS20 delivers the bass while the Endorphin.es Shuttle System comes in with the noisy lead sound.

A little something about the Endorphines #Shuttle, it's an excellent and versatile piece of gear with almost endless CV modulation possibilities with their 'Shuttle Control' module (incl. features like converting automation or MIDI CC values to Control Voltages that most Eurorack format modules should be able to comprehend)

The oscillators sound fat and rich, easy to tune. The choice of filter modes make it easy to shape frequencies or destroy them. The envelopes can be adjusted to make everything from the snappiest of percussive sounds to the longest of decaying drones. Cross modulation between the oscillators using the "Furthrrrr Generator" is incredible too. A must have for the modular synth addicts!

The Make Noise 0-Coast is being used to replace the filter envelope on the MS20 mini.

All of the above is being sequenced by the teenage engineering OP1's 'endless' sequencer with some basic spatial effects on the synth sounds using Ableton Live 10.

Please watch in HD and use a pair of headphones for the best quality."
