Hello. Here's my second pack of patches for the Novation Circuit. Isotonik Studios approached me, and asked if I wanted contribute to their Circuit store, and sell a pack of patches there. So I did my best to create a rich pack, with a lot of fun, useful, and even a few experimental sounds.

"COMPLETE THE CIRCUIT!?
When the Novation Circuit first got pushed across our desk we just got it, in minutes we had a simple tune up and playing whereas with other synths we’d hit brick walls after an hour of fiddling and then we’d pull the plug on the project without finding that spark of inspiration!

Novation then invited us to their head office in High Wycombe to finish work they’d started in an Max patch that would edit the inbuilt sounds for Synth’s ONE and TWO. It was ground we’d trod before in our work with LaunchSync and the LaunchControl XL Step Sequencer, however nothing would prepare us for how deep this one went…

After a few beta rounds of testing, it became apparent that we could develop something pretty special. We’d need a little more help from the team behind the development of the Circuit though. So after a few lengthy Skype sessions the gauntlet was set down…

We all agreed that we wanted to unlock the potential behind the Circuit and develop an Editor that would allow the user to fine tune or completely reshape the onboard sounds. Novation began by developing the latest firmware based on our requests, then we set about providing bi-directional feedback from the unit to the Editor, the advantage of being able to edit the Factory Settings and save them back to session slots was soon surpassed with the ability to overwrite the patches stored in the Circuits ROM. You got two Nova Synths and a bank of 64 patches to play with so that should be plenty!

Novation Announces Circuit Components - Sampe Integration for Circuit, Backup and More

Note the first sentence in the press release below. This is only the first installment, which of course means there will be more to follow. In my recent review of the Circuit I called out two things. One, the Circuit did not feature sample playback, and two, there was no ability back up your work. This update brings both. BTW, if you own an iPad and would like to edit the two synth engines on your Circuit, you'll find my editor linked in my review.

Step Edit
· Even easier step-by-step automation: have a different pitch on your drums for each hit. Add FX to one note in a sequence. External Preset Select
· Remotely switch the sound of either of Circuit’s two synths on the fly using MIDI program change messages. Remotely switch the sound of any of Circuit’s four drums on the fly using MIDI CC messages. From any MIDI source.

Trance Foundations - Novation Circuit Tracks Pack by Techtronix

"Trance is a genre that by the definition of the word means hypnotic, Trance Foundations meets that need for the Novation Circuit Tracks!

The music doesn't stray from this concept and has been played on by artists throughout the years.

Trance Foundations takes you back to that early Euphoria days, when Cassette was a thing.
Combining hypnotic melodies, strong chord progessions, gated arps, along with solid kick drums and 909 style hats and percussion. Trance is a genre that Novations Circuit Tracks leans with ease.

Often one melody and harmony is enough with drums to keep a section interesting. This pack takes it further by giving you a third instrument column in the sample pool.

Courtesy of the Behringer Neutron, this column consists of light plucks, all the way up to distorted bass. This gives you the ability to fine tune a bassline with the sample pool and still retain the two Novation Synths, or use it for a light arp or melody.

Along with 16 oldskool Trance Sessions, organised for you to play as a live set with all tunes created at 140BPM, suggested key E Minor or F minor
