"This is another episode of PURE ANALOG here with MFB DOMINION CLUB. The synths here being played without FX = PURE ANALOG which is a project to find out and show the qualities of analog synthesizers and eventually also hybrids. And exciting Question is also how contemporary synths like this lush GRP A-2 or EREBUS NYX compare to vintage legends like MINIMOOG or ARP ODYSSEY or ROLAND JUPITER 4 etc. So this piece will be played and performed with different synths in the future track by track recorded in DAW without any equing or otherwise processed in DAW, no add modulation, reverb, saturation or other FX. Only a mastering compressor, EQ and Limiter is used on the sum. So what you hear is completely un-FX-ed material -- almost impossible to find these days!!!"

"A mighty 3 oscillator mono synth that is commonly compared to a voyager. This thing is amazing! 14 different filter types on this beast! 4LPF, 4BPF, 2HPF and 2Notch. This thing is SO versatile and pretty much “knob per function” which makes it a joy to use. It’s in wonderful condition and has been strictly a studio synth. I’ve cared for it to the highest degree. This is the item I am most bummed to sell out of all of them. They are hard to come by stateside."

"It has been a while - we have moved and i had to do a quick new studio test - using some original MB6582 'acid' basslines created by TK./Thorsten Klose. Many, many thanks! :)

This was done in only about two hours and is not really a full track (thus the new midiphy SEQ v4+ was mostly unused). It is more of a SID stereo bassline audio demo, highly repetitive. I've also added both video takes, i am not sure which one is better or if both are bad, please tell me what you think :).

In this video, most sounds are created by DIY devices:
* MIDIbox MB6582 for a pair of 8580 SIDs in stereo bassline mode
* Mutable Instruments Anushri for the lead
* midiphy LoopA prototype for sequencing
* DIY polivoks stereo VCF to filter the drums

Recorded directly onto a Tascam audiograbber, no DAW was used, only slight audio compression added in post production.

Non-DIY equipment used:
* Vermona DRM 1 for drums
* MFB Dominion I as a secondary bassline synth

Anyone confirm this is essentially a desktop version of the Dominion 1? The 1 came after the X. According to MFB, the Dominion Club is the desktop version of the 1.
