"Hell yeah! Ableton have announced a new Push with built in sound card, upgraded pads and more. There's also a standalone version which can run Ableton Live Suite and all its devices and MAX4Live too. Sessions can be transferred between Live on a host computer and the Push Standalone.
Push comes in two versions: Regular (MPE MIDI controller, and sound card) which will link to your host computer running Live, and the Standalone version - which has an Intel NUC processor card, 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD for asset and project storage."

"MS20 Mini is CV sequenced and processed by Elektron Analog Four.

There are 5 improvisation sessions in this video using this setup.
Analog Four is sending out CV sequence for pitch tracking, low pass filter and high pass filter on the MS20 mini. The output of the MS20 is then fed through the Analog Four's input using Filters, Overdrive and Digital effects. With this setting, the MS20 mini can be taken lot further by sequencing and adding automation to parameters. And when the Analog Four's Filters and Digital FX are added...well, its fun :) Using the Analog Four's extreme LFOs on MS20 Mini's filters results in some very interesting sounds which are not possible on the MS20 mini itself.

Track 1 is used for Analog four's input processing MS20. It also triggers the CV track controlling MS20's Pitch.
Track 2 is used for Kick
Track 3 is set for HiHats and Snares
Track 4 is used for Additional Analog Four synthesis.

This track was made only on the Machinedrum, running the X.05 unofficial firmware. Stereo out and 4 individual tracks have been recorded separately into Ableton from the Machinedrum extra outputs: AmenBreak, Bass, Kick, KicknSnare. Only some minor compression and limiting was applied to the master channel on Ableton before rendering, to get the sound a bit boosted without changing the character and quality.

"Done on the Elektron Trinity (Octatrack, Machinedrum, Monomachine) and some samples from OP1 - actually 90 percent of the material was sampled on to the Octatrack from the machines - it works amazing as a producing machine :) Took around 2 hours to create the track but took longer to actually 'perform' it right and have the video looking OK."
