Novation Launchkey Now Available

Novation has officially launched the new Novation Launchkey with RGB velocity-sensitive pads and three sizes: 61, 49, and 25 keys (all three pictured). If you missed it, be sure to see the Novation Launchkey video featuring Gentry here.  The following is the official press release from Novation:

"Introducing the updated Launchkey, now with RGB velocity-sensitive pads.

Novation's Launchkey keyboard controller is the is the quickest and easiest way to produce and perform electronic music in Ableton Live, and it has just been given an exciting upgrade. "Next up in our Start Making series, we grabbed a load of sounds from a workshop (using a power drill, hammer and an angle grinder...) to use as samples and make an Industrial Techno track with only a Launchpad Pro and what comes in the box.

Novation Introduces Circuit - New Stand Alone Grid-Based Groove Box

Novation reveals what's behind their "Start Something" campaign (previously posted here). Watching the videos I was expecting some sort of DAW software or controller. When I first saw the image of the Circuit, I thought my expectations where confirmed.  Well, it might look like another DAW controller, but it isn't. This is a stand alone production system with the synth engine built in. The engine includes two six voice Novation analog modeling synths with wavetables, a four-part drum machine, and built-in delay and reverb. You can now change the colour of the sessions from the unit itself (instead of from the Components software), and there are new setup options to optimise Circuit’s interoperation with other MIDI hardware. Lastly, Novation have created brand new samples, synth patches and sessions, to give you even more inspiration.
