Published on Sep 15, 2018 sonicstate
"Obviously you always want to hear more of this synthesizer right? At Knobcon this year we were able to grab some demo patches from Paul Schilling (Schilling Sound Emporium) who was showing off his work on the Deckard's Dream Synth. In the demo Paul used the Kurzweil MIDI keyboard (for its polyphonic after touch) and the Linnstrument."

And a video from Paul himself:

Blade Runner Blues lead demo
Published on Aug 13, 2018 Paul Schilling
"demo of the patch I created for Arturia's CS-80V.
The Blade Runner Blues lead / harmonica patch is one of the most expressive patches Vangelis ever did on the CS-80. Among other things it features sensitive and fine-tuned velocity and aftertouch response, with quite different settings for each of the two synth lines. Since it is not directly derived from the CS-80's preset buttons, as many of his other go-to patches were, and especially because it has so many expressive nuances, it is not a straightforward patch to recreate.
After many hours of fine-tuning every possible parameter on the CS-80V3 and much A/B comparison, this is the closest I have gotten. The pad background was created with the Roland VP-03 strings to emulate Vangelis' gorgeous VP330, and some Rhodes flourishes were added."

Original Yamaha CS-80 Presets for Deckard's Dream
Deckard's Dream Demos by Paul Schilling
"Each of the original 22 CS-80 patches went through several revisions over the last few months to get them as close as possible. Included are all the various CS-80 preset combinations - a total of around 120 Deckard's Dream patches, each of them tweaked for optimal balance.
In the style of Vangelis, since he is the perennial master of CS-80 presets. I'll be adding on to this as time allows"

DD Be Mine (Rod Temperton tribute)
Cool, new track from supporting member, Paul Schilling on Black Corporation's Deckard's Dream.
"Had some fun recreating the main parts of an early-80s Michael Jackson / Rod Temperton tune (Baby Be Mine) with the Deckard's Dream synth. All parts are DD, lead played on Linnstrument and drums are Linn Drum samples.
The way Rod Temperton wrote songs.. all the different parts talking to each other, often in a wonderful polyrhythmic groove cacaphony. One of the great songwriters of our time."

DD NAMM Dance by Paul Schilling
"Not being able to go to NAMM this year but so euphoric about my Deckard's Dream, I wanted to put something together that captures the excitement.
Spliced together from various parts of a Linnstrument arpeggiator session with the DD. Still just one voice card. :)"
