I have improved the power starve mod and there is a cool 'test pin' mod on the OKI chip.. although I forgot to include it in this clip!"

MS-20 ESP Sequencer Simulation

"Even without a sequencer it's possible to create sequencer-like patterns. Here the Kaoss Pad plays an audio loop which is processed by the MS-20 ESP and S&H for simulating a sequencer.

Basically the MS-20 plays a long boring sound. The ESP changes the sound based on the incoming audio. The vid shows some applications for the different ESP outputs. The S&H is very useful for simulating sequencer steps (clocked by the ESP trigger).

The Kaoss Pad could be replaced by almost any audio generating device. A beat is useful for creating triggers at regular intervals. Other sounds may be especially useful for creating a wider range of CV values. An audio loop is probably the best way to simulate a sequencer."

Randgrid lets you create music wherever you are. The interface is based on classic analog synthesizers, drum machines and sequencers.

You have a very powerful setup at your fingertips with two virtual analog synthesizers and fourteen sampled drum parts.

An advanced step sequencer virtually lets you control every aspect of the drums and synthesizers. Use parameter locks to change cutoff, resonance, envelope modulation, panning and many more parameters for each step in a pattern.

This is a pre release of Randgrid, exiting new features are currently being developed and added, while some might change.

"A patch trying to model a plucked string. The setup is MFB Osc-2 into LPG (both mode) into A-188-1 BBD into another LPG (Filter only, to get rid of the BBD clock bleeding through). Pitch of the Osc and Delay clock of the BBD is sequenced by the MAQ16/3. A bit of reverb is added."
