x0xb0x x0xi0 Full Mod 2

YouTube via bcastromusic
"Demonstration of x0xi0 Full mod.
This is a basic pattern using two VCO's and noise source. Also, filter tracking, Envelope 2 routed to the VCA and VCF, and to VCO2 as well at one point. I'm also adjusting the VCA envelope parameters. The dedicated VCA envelope, ENV2, and the Accent sweep can all affect the VCA simulateneously - this is where all those syncopated sounds are coming from... where all VCA control sources mix and match to shape the volume.

The row of four controls at the bottom right is the VCA envelope, A - D - S - R
the row of four knobs above that is Envelope2 (ENV2 for short). The first two controls are Attack and Decay/Release. The switch below the second control is the Decay/Release mode switch. The 3rd control in that row is the ENV2 depth amount control. This determines how much ENV2 is sent to the VCA or VCO. The switch below the control allows you to select VCA or VCO as destination. The fourth control in that row is the ENV2 to VCF Depth control. It determines the amount that ENV2 effects cutoff frequency. The slide switch below the knob is the ENV2 invert switch which inverts the envelope shape.

The filter tracking control is the one just to right of the bank knob. The noise source level control is the one to the left and above the tempo knob.

I'm also using the Gate on switchs with the gate on modes. There is a gate on mode that leaves the gate open and only re-triggers the filter envelope and the new ENV manual by pressing that push-button on the lower right. The is a second gate-on mode that leaves the gate open but allows the normal filter envelope to retrigger with each note but not ENV2. In this case ENV2 can only be triggered manually, which is what you see me doing when I press that button at the lower right."

Ellatron Remote Visualizer

YouTube via OmenieSoftware. no audio.
"Ellatron Remote Visualizer is a new add-on for Ellatron 1.4 that runs exclusively on the Mac, and is currently in development. Ellatron Remote Visualizer is designed to hook up to the stage projection system, to make an iPhone-based performance more compelling for the audience. Ellatron Remote Visualizer connects over WiFi to Ellatron 1.4 and duplicates Ellatron's display on the Mac, and adds customizable, swirly, groovy, hyper-psychedelic backgrounds for that authentic Pink Floyd UFO Club 1967 oil wheel experience. Ellatron can be connected to a guitar radio transmitter for audio and to Ellatron Remote Visualizer over WiFi for video, to allow true rock star expeditions across the stage during performance.

Ellatron - the sound of the 60s in your hip pocket."

Tutorial - converting CC Data with MIDIPipe

YouTube via alexpfefferdotnet
"This is a little tutorial about changing MIDI CC Data. Sometimes you don't want to change the settings of your sequencer or reprogram your keyboard. So you can simply use a little software called "MIDIPipe" to convert CC Data e.g. from CC01 to CC11. By doing this you are able to use your ModWheel for CC11. Hope you enjoy!"
