Podcast: Sonic TALK134 - Largo Love, Acxel Antipathy
"We start with talk of the recent LIMS show, where shot plenty of new videos, then we're on to the Acxel2 synth - a powerful, realtime resynthesizer which needs some good demos. By contrast, the arrival of Waldorf Largo seems to impress everyone to a man, then we check out AudioBoo.fm - a new audio blogging site." Podcast on Sonic State here

"This is an extraction from the iPhone Firmware 3.0 preview, on using the new bluetooth peer-to-peer connection to play duet ph leaf trombone, with an iPhone.

Yamaha TG77 Display Upgrade / Replacement
via David on the SDIY list:
"I finally got around to changing the display on my ancient and illegible
Yamaha TG77. The backlight died several years ago and this wonderful machine
has been sitting more or less idle in my rack ever since.
There wasn't much to the upgrade process. I just followed some instructions
here"

Blofeld, Upright Bass and Sitar groove
Blofeld, Upright Bass and Sitar groove from Monomeat on Vimeo.
"Demonstration of user samples on Waldorf Blofeld in multi mode. The loop, upright bass and sitar are samples. There's no sequencing here just re-triggering multiple latched arpeggiators. The Moog is only acting as a controller for note and volume data per MIDI channel to create the arrangement in real-time."
On a personal note. I finally ordered my Blofeld Keyboard from Noisebug for an excellent price: $999. I ordered it Tuesday, they shipped same day and it arrives this Friday. I can't wait!!!! Noisebug rocks!
