aliens ate my babysitter

YouTube via analoq
"I wrote a synthesizer "server" for the iPhone that can be controlled over Wi-Fi, as well as a Mac client to parse the MIDI data from my controller and send it over UDP.

By sticking the phone in my mouth it functions as a very awkward talkbox (and I thought enunciating with the Banshee was hard...). The slight network lag makes my timing a little weird on the keys. Even so, it's pretty fun to play with.

I'm performing the theme from classic DOS game Commander Keen: Aliens Ate My Babysitter

Mystery - Hot Summer

YouTube via mysteritmo. Roland TR-606.
"An instrumental made very fast just to test how the Tascam US-122 USB Audio/Midi Interface would work on my not so powerful laptop (1,60 GHz - 512 MB RAM). It managed to handle about 16 mono tracks without complaining. Written and performed by Mystery 2009."

Simple analog LFO modulation - How to - part 2

YouTube via analogueak. part 1 here.
"This one is about how a LFO is used to modulate the patch in the first video. Of course combining them is where this is headed, but I think its valuable to start on a very basic level."
